What should I not forget for a trip to Kyrgyzstan?

Pack a bit of everything in terms of clothing: it can be extremely hot in the city—over 40°C—while snowing at the same time at higher altitudes. Nights remain cool or even freezing, even in summer. You should therefore plan to dress in layers.
Don’t forget a cap, sunscreen, a hat, gloves, a small backpack for day hikes, comfortable and waterproof hiking shoes, a waterproof jacket, warm clothes, a swimsuit to enjoy lakes and hot springs, a first-aid kit, a camera, and spare batteries.
Consider bringing small souvenirs from France, sweets, or photos of yourself, your home, and family to offer to locals—these are great ways to share unique moments of conviviality.
