Central Thailand experiences three seasons: cool, hot, and rainy. Around Bangkok, temperatures hover around 30°C during the dry period. From March to June, temperatures climb and can approach 40°C. During these months, enjoy your hotel pool, visit air-conditioned shopping centers, or explore the city in the morning or late afternoon when it's cooler. Like all Thai regions, the climate is affected by monsoons from July through October, bringing a mix of sunshine and rain paired with heat and humidity. On outings during this period, always carry a raincoat or umbrella to protect yourself from heavy afternoon downpours.
