Do I need a visa for a trip to Indonesia

Since June 10, 2015, all French nationals as well as several other nationalities are exempted of visa for a stay of 30 days (maximum) on the Indonesian territory.

To take advantage of this visa exemption, you must nevertheless have at your disposal a return air ticket and a valid passport at least 6 months after your return date in France.

For a stay of more than 30 days, you will have to apply for a tourist visa. You can apply directly at the airport or border post. The tourist visa allows you to stay 30 days and renew it for an additional 30 days in order to stay at most 60 days in the territory.

For a stay of more than 60 days, the visa application must be made to the Indonesian Embassy in Paris: 47-49, rue Cortambert, 75116 Paris. Metro: Passy or La Muette
