- A sweater or jacket for cool evenings at higher elevations or bus journeys where air conditioning can be intense.
- A waterproof jacket or rain shell for rainy days.
- Hiking boots or good sneakers if your itinerary includes treks or hiking.
- A pair of sandals or flip-flops that are easy to slip off, as you'll need to remove your shoes regularly when entering temples or local homes in Thailand.
