Which vaccinations are mandatory or recommended for a trip to Laos?
You should update your hepatitis A vaccination before traveling to Laos. Depending on the duration and conditions of your stay, you may also consider vaccinations against rabies, typhoid, hepatitis B, and Japanese encephalitis.
Laos is a malaria-risk area throughout the year. It is therefore recommended to take preventive antimalarial treatment and protect yourself against mosquito bites during your stay.
