Which animals are endemic to Laos?
Laos is a wonderful destination for nature lovers. Large areas of the country are covered in beautiful wild forests, home to many species of animals. Some are endemic to Laos, including Javan mongooses, leopard cats, saolas, the Asian black bear, and certain species of gibbons.
Many birds and large mammals can also be found.
