Day 1-2 - The East Lothian Coast
Discover East Lothian, nicknamed the "garden of Écosse", a sunny coastal region located east of Edinburgh. With its 40 miles of steep coastlines and golden sandy beaches, it is a true paradise for nature lovers. Admire its spectacular cliffs, peaceful bays and nature reserves where abundant flora and fauna flourish. Charming coastal towns like North Berwick and Dunbar offer breathtaking views over the North Sea and make ideal bases for exploring the region.
East Lothian also captivates with its history deeply rooted in its landscapes. Follow in the footsteps of Écosse's past by visiting the Dunbar Castle, which played an important role in the country's history, and contemplate the ruins of Tantallon Abbey, perched on a cliff with breathtaking views over the sea.
Day 3-5 - 3 Unforgettable Days on the Isle of Arran
Rightly nicknamed Écosse in miniature, Arran brings together the best of what can be found in Écosse: prehistoric remains, a Victorian castle, steep coastlines, and even a cheese factory to satisfy curious gourmands.
For these three days spent on the island, there is no time to waste. Arran offers a multitude of unique experiences to share with family or friends, depending on your aspirations. You can start with the ascent of Goat Fell, the highest inland peak on the island (873.5 metres), whether you choose to climb it on foot or by bike. For those who prefer water, a sea kayaking excursion is an experience not to be missed – a divine moment to experience nature up close.
The island is also rich in fascinating history: you will have the opportunity to discover the standing stones of Machrie Moor, the megalithic circle of Auchagallon, as well as the old stones of Brodick Castle, stronghold of the Dukes of Hamilton and now owned by the National Trust for Scotland.

Day 8-9 - Angus and Dundee

Continue your journey into the city's maritime past with a visit to the RRS Discovery, the iconic ship of Captain Scott, and HM Frigate Unicorn, a beautifully preserved 19th-century warship. Registration is considered firm and final after payment of a deposit of 30% of the total price and acceptance of the specific terms of sale.
The balance must be paid no later than 45 days before the departure date.

The information below concerns travelers who are nationals of the European Economic Area (EEA), Switzerland, and Canada traveling to Scotland for a tourist stay. As entry rules may change, we recommend verifying the information with the official authorities before your departure.
Passport
Scotland is part of the United Kingdom. To enter, nationals of the EEA and Switzerland must be in possession of a valid passport for the entire duration of the stay. Since Brexit, the national identity card is no longer accepted as a travel document to the United Kingdom for the vast majority of travelers.
Canadian nationals must also present a valid passport for the duration of the stay.
The document must be in good condition (no damaged, torn, or altered pages).
Tourist stay without visa
Nationals of the European Economic Area, Switzerland, and Canada benefit from a visa exemption for tourist stays in the United Kingdom.
This exemption allows a stay of up to 6 months on British territory. It is not possible to extend this stay from within the United Kingdom beyond this duration for a tourist stay.
British authorities may request:
an exit ticket from the territory (return or onward flight),
proof of sufficient financial resources for the duration of the stay,
proof of accommodation (hotel reservation, invitation, etc.).
Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA)
Since the beginning of 2025, the United Kingdom has implemented the Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA), a mandatory electronic travel authorization for visa-exempt nationals, including citizens of the EEA, Switzerland, and Canada.
The ETA must be obtained before departure and is electronically linked to the traveler's passport. It allows multiple entries to British territory and is valid for 2 years or until the passport expires, whichever comes first. The application is made online via the application or official website of the British government.

Travel with children
Minors must be holders of their own valid passport covering the duration of the stay.
In certain European countries, when a minor travels without one of their parents, an authorization to leave the territory may be required according to the regulations of their country of residence.

Entry conditions may vary depending on nationality. Concerned travelers should inquire with the embassy or consulate of the United Kingdom in their country of residence.
