The spirit of travel

This getaway takes you to the most romantic corners of Belize, ideal for an unforgettable honeymoon. Far from the hustle and bustle of mass tourism, this small Central American country offers a preserved natural setting, perfect for reconnecting as a couple.

The accommodations selected allow you to enjoy beautiful intimacy in an exceptional setting, whether deep in the jungle facing a river or on a private island within the coral reef. Every step of the journey has been designed to offer moments of calm and connection, away from daily life, with landscapes that change from day to day, from tropical forests to the turquoise waters of the Caribbean.

Similarly, this is a blend of activities, adventure, discovery and rest time to recharge, alternating between excursions to Mayan archaeological sites, diving in the heart of spectacular coral reefs and suspended moments together, lulled by the tranquil rhythm of island life.

The information below concerns travelers who are nationals of the European Economic Area (EEA), Switzerland, and Canada traveling to Belize for a tourist stay. Entry rules may change, so we recommend verifying this information with the official authorities before your departure.

Passport

To enter Belize, your passport must be valid for a minimum of six months after the date of entry into the country and must have at least one blank page for immigration stamps.
The document must be in good condition (no damaged, torn, or altered pages).

Tourist stay without visa

Nationals of the European Economic Area, Switzerland, and Canada benefit from a visa exemption for tourist stays in Belize.

Currently, this exemption allows an initial stay of up to 30 days upon entry into the territory. A stay extension can generally be requested on-site from the Belize Immigration Department, for a maximum total duration of 90 days per year.

Authorities may also request:

  • an outbound ticket from the territory (return or onward flight),

  • proof of sufficient financial resources for the duration of your stay.

Tourist tax on arrival

A tourist tax is charged upon entry to Belize. The amount may vary depending on the mode of entry into the country (by air or land). This tax is generally included in the airline ticket for travelers arriving by air, but may need to be paid separately for arrivals by land.

It is advisable to inquire with your carrier or Belizean authorities to find out the exact amount applicable at the time of your trip.

Health

No vaccine is mandatory to enter Belize for travelers coming from the EEA, Switzerland, or Canada, except in cases of arrival from a country at risk of yellow fever, where a yellow fever vaccination certificate may be required.

As a preventive measure, health authorities notably recommend:

  • vaccination against hepatitis A and typhoid,

  • precautions against malaria, present in certain rural areas of the country,

  • protective measures against arboviruses (dengue, chikungunya, Zika), transmitted by mosquitoes.

It is recommended to consult a doctor or international vaccination center before departure.

Travel with children

Minors must be holders of their own valid passport covering the duration of the stay.

In some European countries, when a minor travels without one of their parents, an authorization to leave the territory may be required according to the regulations of the country of residence.

Other nationalities

Entry conditions may vary depending on nationality. Travelers concerned should inquire with the embassy or consulate of Belize in their country of residence.
