Haad Khom, the peaceful

If you're seeking a tranquil beach, head to the sublime Haad Khom beach. Located on the northern coast of Koh Phangan, this charming shore is ideal for peaceful relaxation. We love its multihued blue waters, its rocks and wild vegetation. Fun fact: it's one of the rare places on the island where you might spot long-tailed macaques!

Haad Than Sadet, the untouched

Located on the eastern side of the island within its namesake national park, Than Sadet beach offers a wild landscape that never grows old. Nestled between emerald green seas, surrounded by lush vegetation and bordered by impressive rock formations, this beach is well worth the detour. Note: entry to Than Sadet National Park is now a paid attraction. In addition to the beach, your ticket includes access to its waterfall, famous as the bathing spot of Thai royalty (including Rama V), who left their mark by engraving their initials into the rock.

Haad Mae Had, the distinctive

Head to the northwest of the island to discover one of Koh Phangan's most distinctive beaches: Haad Mae Had. Its uniqueness lies in its proximity to a small island called Koh Ma. This island is accessible on foot by crossing a sandbar that reveals itself only at low tide. Haad Mae Had is also known for its underwater world, perfect for snorkeling or scuba diving. Haad Khuad or Bottle Beach, the secluded

Here's the most secluded beach in our selection! Indeed, Haad Khuad (better known as Bottle Beach) is a beach that requires effort to reach, as access is via a jungle trek. Located on the northern coast, the hiking trail starts near Haad Khom and takes approximately 1.5 hours to complete. For those less athletically inclined, don't worry—you can also reach the beach by boat (taxi boat). To vary the experience, why not trek there and return by boat?

Thong Nai Pan Yai and Thong Nai Pan Noi, the family-friendly
