Here are the best stadiums to watch a Thai boxing fight in Thailand.

1. Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok

As the nation's capital, Bangkok is also known as the Muay Thai capital. Naturally, the most popular Thai boxing stadiums are found in what's called the City of Angels. Renowned worldwide, the Lumpinee (or Lumpini) Stadium is the most reputable stadium in the country and stands as a reference point in Muay Thai. Established in 1956, the stadium was originally located near Lumpini Park. But in 2014, it was forced to close and relocate. Today, the stadium is more on the outskirts of the city center, situated near Don Mueang Airport. To get there, you can take the BTS Skytrain to the Mo Chit station.

2. Rajadamnoen Stadium in Bangkok

A true institution, this stadium is the dream of every Muay Thai boxer. And for good reason—the Rajadamnoen Stadium is Bangkok's oldest and most prestigious stadium, having hosted its first fight in 1945! Since then, countless champions have stepped into its ring. It's often considered Thailand's best Muay Thai stadium. Located not far from the old city on Rajadamnern Nok Road.

3. Kawila Boxing Stadium in Chiang Mai

Situated near the San Pakoy Market, the Kawila Boxing Stadium is Chiang Mai's official stadium. Frequented by both tourists and locals, the atmosphere at matches here is often described as deeply authentic and welcoming. Ticket prices are generally lower than those found in Bangkok. Of course, the presence of a champion can always drive costs up! In any case, Kawila Boxing Stadium is an excellent alternative to watch a Thai boxing match without heading to Bangkok!

4. Patong Boxing Stadium in Phuket

From the north to southern Thailand at the Patong Boxing Stadium on the island of Phuket. Every week, the best boxers compete in a completely electric atmosphere. What we love about it? Though Phuket is an extremely touristy destination, this stadium is one of the rare places in the region where locals outnumber tourists!
