Our Jungle Camp
Ecolodge founded in 1975 on the edge of Khao Sok National Park: bamboo huts, treehouses, organic farm and ecotourism commitment.
Our Jungle Camp welcomes nature lovers visiting Khao Sok National Park. With its bamboo huts nestled in the trees, the camp is one of the pioneers of responsible tourism.
Khao Sok Eco Resort, an ecological retreat camp in Khao Sok National Park
The name says it all… Tucked away in Khao Sok National Park, Our Jungle Camp immerses trekkers in the heart of the Thai wilderness. Leave behind concrete buildings and surrender to a bamboo dwelling, a treehouse, or a riverside bungalow, all constructed from biodegradable materials. The project was launched in 1975 by a passionate advocate of ecotourism, who pioneered ecolodges within the national reserves of Krabi, Phra Thong, and the River Kwai. To immerse rather than consume, to respect biodiversity, to savor fresh produce from the farm—these are the values of this ecolodge, which has chosen to forgo air conditioning and wage war on plastic waste.
Choosing Our Jungle Camp, don't be surprised to find no television, no hot water in your bathroom, and no infinity pool. Yet this return to nature, this breathtaking view of wildlife from your balcony, this immersion in the natural world offers a unique experience! Spending one or two nights at Our Jungle Camp, you'll realize that you can appreciate nature without damaging it and support a solidarity-based, shared economy.
Where is Our Jungle Camp located?
Our Jungle Camp welcomes its regulars 1.2 km from Khao Sok National Park, about a 12-minute walk away. The nearest airport is Surat Thani. If you arrive there, expect a half-hour journey to reach the camp. As for Krabi Airport and Phuket Airport, they are respectively 2.5 hours and 3 hours away by car. An English-speaking receptionist is available around the clock for all inquiries and reservations. Visitors may be accompanied by children, but four-legged friends are not permitted at the establishment.

"Treehouses": a childhood dream
Guests can choose between a bamboo hut, a two-story treehouse, or a riverside bungalow. The Eco Lodge concept is brilliantly executed: dwellings blend seamlessly into the surroundings; building materials are sourced from recycled materials; sanitary facilities are powered by purified wastewater. A troop of arboreal monkeys roams near the lodge, delighting children.
Accommodations are comfortably appointed: simple beds under mosquito nets, classic wooden furnishings, and a bathroom with hot water. You'll have a private balcony for relaxation, offering a stunning perspective on wildlife.
