These rock formations were once mountain summits, submerged when the Ratchaprapha Dam was built. The noble wood construction topped with a thatched roof blends seamlessly into the landscape. Atmosphere

The atmosphere is dictated by the lake: calm waters at dawn, mist clinging to the peaks, silence broken by birdsong and occasionally the distant call of gibbons from the forest.
