Travel from the capital can also be made by train, allowing approximately two and a half hours to reach Kanchanaburi Railway Station from Bangkok's Thonburi Station. Moreover, the nearest airport is Kamphaeng Saen Airport at 44 km away. Upon request, private shuttle services can be arranged to pick you up upon arrival, unless you prefer to take a tuk-tuk or taxi.
