For a stay in northern Thailand, consider Fern Resort. For many years, it has been a gathering place for ecotourism enthusiasts in Thailand. Carefully positioned in the heart of rice paddies, the hotel's wooden bungalows offer comfort and privacy for a rejuvenating retreat close to nature.
Stay at Fern Resort
Fern Resort is the perfect base for escaping urban life and reconnecting with nature. Nestled in a small valley 7 km from the town of Mae Hong Son, this ecotourism retreat is surrounded by the natural landscapes typical of Thailand. Views of mountains, jungle, rice fields, and streams bring a sense of serenity. For wildlife and flora enthusiasts, don't miss visiting nearby Mae Surin National Park.
Sleep in Cozy Bungalows
For a complete change of scenery, the resort invites you to stay in wooden bungalows designed in the local Shan style. Among the 30 accommodations available, you'll find suites that blend luxury with rustic charm. Their large bay windows offer views over the rice paddies or creek, and you have a private balcony to relax in the open air. The Deluxe bungalows are equally comfortable and peaceful, offering garden views.
The décor of Fern Resort's rooms harmonizes with the surrounding nature, tastefully blending bamboo and teak, light fabrics, and soft lighting. Furnishings have been carefully selected for your comfort. Additionally, rooms are equipped with air conditioning and hot water in the bathrooms.
Since the resort's aim is to reconnect you with nature, there are no televisions or telephones in the bungalows. The sounds of the jungle, streams, and farmers will accompany you throughout your stay.
Enjoy the Resort's Many Facilities
Take a refreshing dip in the elevated pool surrounded by rice paddies, followed by sunbathing on loungers offering stunning views of lush nature, tropical cocktail in hand. Do you play pétanque? The hotel has the necessary facilities to test your skills.
For your meals, you'll embark on a culinary journey through Thai cuisine at the restaurant nestled in the woods. You'll have the chance to taste classic recipes from the country, as well as more original dishes such as fried fern. Don't miss the barbecue evenings and campfires at Fern Resort's open-air bar.
