Air Madagascar is the national airline of Madagascar. Established in 1961 under the name Madair, it adopted its current name the following year.
Since June 2015, the airline has been a member of the Vanilla Alliance.
Air Madagascar serves a variety of international destinations:
-Paris: 4 flights per week
-Marseille: 1 flight per week
- Saint-Denis (Réunion)
- Moroni and Anjouan (Comoros)
- Mayotte
- Mauritius
- Guangzhou (Canton): 2 flights per week
In 2006, Air Madagascar reached a significant milestone by transporting 600,000 passengers, handling 7,000 tons of cargo, and achieving a revenue of approximately 400 billion MGA.
