The Kerinci volcano region, often nicknamed "the secret valley of Sumatra", is a little gem just 6 hours by car from Padang.
Surrounded by Kerinci-Seblat National Park, the largest in Sumatra (around 13,500 km2), the Kerinci valley is full of places still preserved from tourism.
Then take advantage of a unique circuit, in bivouac, to explore 5 magnificent lakes: Lake Lingkat, Lake Nyalo, Lake Duo, Lake Kecik and Lake Kaco, renowned for its transparent turquoise waters.
