Mt Tujuh is located in the far west of Jambi Province in Sumatra, and dominates a caldera covered by the "seven mountains" lake, which is exactly the number of peaks surrounding it.
At the top of this ancient volcano (which means "seven" in Indonesian), you will have the chance to admire a breathtaking panorama, from which emerges the highest volcano in Indonesia - Kerinci, and, after the effort, you will be happy to camp at the edge of the peaceful lake, where nature takes on its full meaning.
Departure from Padang in the morning and drive to the Kerinci region. About 7 hours of driving. Night in a guest house in Siulak in a family pension.
In the morning, we will visit the traditional market and leave after lunch to the Gunung Tujuh volcano. We begin the ascent which lasts approximately 3 hours. Arrived at the summit, bivouac at the edge of Lake Tujuh.
