Self-guided tour: the artistic neighborhoods of Coyoacán and San Ángel

San Ángel welcomes you with its colonial charm: cobblestone streets, flower markets, elegant homes and grand villas. It is here that you will find Diego Rivera's studio-museum, where the artist lived alongside Frida Kahlo.

More bohemian and student-spirited, Coyoacán enchants with its café-lined squares and lively atmosphere. You will discover iconic places such as Leon Trotsky's house, where he was assassinated in 1940, and the Frida Kahlo Museum, a moving testament to the life of the famous Mexican artist.

Self-guided tour: Lucha Libre match in Mexico City

Lucha Libre is a true institution in Mexico, far beyond a sport: it is a spectacle rooted in popular culture. In Mexico City, arenas host spectacular matches blending acrobatics, rivalries and theatrical staging.

Matches are generally held on Tuesday and Friday evenings, in an electric atmosphere. Family shows can also be offered on Sundays. Arena schedules are available online two weeks in advance, with varying prices depending on the event and type of seating. Whether you are a sports enthusiast or simply curious, attending a Lucha Libre match is an unmissable experience to feel the pulse of Mexican culture.

Hiking in Iztaccíhuatl-Popocatépetl National Park: immersion in the heart of Mexican volcanoes

Mexico CityPuebla

3h160 km

Approximately 70 kilometers southeast of Mexique, the Iztaccíhuatl-Popocatépetl National Park invites you to adventure in the heart of magnificent volcanic landscapes. Dominated by two emblematic peaks, Iztaccíhuatl and Popocatépetl, the park offers spectacular panoramas over the central region of Mexique.

Nicknamed the "Sleeping Woman" because of its elongated silhouette, Iztaccíhuatl peaks at 5,230 meters in altitude. Its summit, often snow-capped, offers a demanding but deeply rewarding hike for experienced mountaineers. The trails cross verdant valleys, alpine forests and glaciers, revealing a diversity of landscapes at every step.

Popocatépetl, active and peaking at 5,426 meters, is recognizable by its smoking crater. Due to its volcanic activity, climbing to its summit is reserved for scientists and seasoned mountaineers. However, many trails allow you to admire this majestic volcano from the surrounding areas.

The park is also a biodiversity sanctuary: forests of pine and oak on the lower slopes, alpine vegetation at higher elevations, and rich wildlife where you can spot eagles, deer, foxes and colorful butterflies.

  • mise à jour des vaccinations de base (diphtérie, tétanos, poliomyélite, rougeole),
