Welcome to Amman, the capital of Jordan
Upon arrival at the airport, you will be welcomed and assisted with obtaining your visa. Then transfer to your hotel in Amman.
A representative from our agency will meet you at the hotel to explain the program in detail and provide you with a rental car, as well as a mobile phone equipped with Google Maps to facilitate your travels.

Discovery of Jerash and Ajloun
Discovery of Jerash, the Preserved Roman City
After breakfast at the hotel, departure for a visit to Jerash (Gerasa), one of the best-preserved Roman cities in the Middle East, nicknamed "the city of a thousand columns". After Petra, Jerash is the second major tourist destination in Jordanie.
Route towards Ajloun, through stunning natural landscapes and olive groves. You will discover the Qala'at ar-Rabad fortress, perched on a hilltop and offering spectacular views over Tiberias and Judea. Built to protect trade routes between Jordanie and Syria, it played a key role in defending the region during the Crusades.
On the Kings' Road – From Madaba to Petra
Discovery of Madaba, the City of Mosaics
After breakfast, departure towards the Kings' Road to visit Madaba, famous for its Byzantine mosaics. This city, which once had 14 churches, housed a renowned school of mosaicists whose art reached its peak in the 5th and 6th centuries.
Visit to the Church of Saint George, which houses the famous "Map of Palestine", a 6th-century mosaic discovered in 1898. Originally measuring 25 meters by 5 meters and composed of two million tesserae, it represents the geography of the Byzantine Near East.
Mount Nebo, Following in Moses' Footsteps
Continue to the Mount Nebo, an emblematic site offering panoramic views over the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea. This promontory is famous for being the place where Moses is said to have glimpsed the Promised Land before his death.
Opportunity to visit Kerak, renowned for its imposing Crusader fortress.
Petra, the pink city of the desert
A full day dedicated to visiting the Petra site (2h30 with English-speaking guide).
Located three hours south of Amman by road, Petra was left to us by the Nabataeans, an industrious Arab nation that settled in the southern tip of Jordan over 2000 years ago. Renowned for its refined culture, massive architecture and its ingenious system of water retention and supply channels, Petra is now inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List and recognized as a site that enchants visitors from all over the world.
You will begin with a guided tour with your local English-speaking guide, then you will be able to stroll freely through the ancient city.
From Little Petra to the Majestic Landscapes of Wadi Rum
After breakfast, departure to visit the "Little Petra", also known as Siq al-Barid. A former Nabataean caravanserai, it is thought to have been an important suburb of Petra. The site is accessible through a narrow opening, similar to that of the Siq, but of lesser scale. You will find tombs, temples, water channels and cisterns carved into the rock, as well as remains of frescoes on plaster.
Route to the Wadi Rum desert
Continuation towards Wadi Rum, a majestic desert where nature has sculpted cliffs, peaks and valleys of breathtaking beauty. Unlike Petra, shaped by man and nature, Wadi Rum owes all its splendor to its unique rock formations.
T. E. Lawrence described this desert as "vast, resonant with echoes and marked by the presence of the divine", a dreamlike landscape where absolute silence reigns. This emblematic site of the Great Arab Revolt was immortalized on screen in Lawrence of Arabia by David Lean.
4x4 exploration in the desert
You board a 4x4 to explore Jordan's perfect desert on a two-hour excursion, where you will admire the sunset.
Dinner in the evening with typical Bedouin cuisine and overnight stay in a Bedouin camp in Wadi Rum.
Unique Experience on the Shores of the Dead Sea
Wadi Rum → Dead sea
Breakfast at the Bedouin camp, then departure for a relaxation getaway to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on Earth, located 400 meters below sea level. Free time to enjoy the facilities of a well-equipped private beach on the Dead Sea, including swimming pools, cabins, showers, as well as restaurants and cafés.
The Dead Sea coast, partially inhabited, remains very peaceful today. Its landscapes, virtually unchanged since antiquity, offer an ideal setting for scenic drives. You can sunbathe, swim, dine, or relax in the water, enjoying the strange but delightful experience of "floating" on the surface of the waters, nine times saltier than ordinary seawater.
Feel free to indulge in a therapeutic mud bath or enjoy a spa treatment to soothe your skin and relax your muscles.

Passeport
Pour entrer en Jordanie, votre passeport doit être valide au minimum six mois après la date d'entrée dans le pays et comporter au moins deux pages vierges pour les tampons d'immigration.
Le document doit être en bon état (pas de pages détériorées, déchirées ou modifiées).
Séjour touristique : visa à l'arrivée
Les ressortissants de l'Espace économique européen, de la Suisse et du Canada peuvent obtenir un visa touristique à l'arrivée (visa on arrival) à l'aéroport international Queen Alia d'Amman ainsi qu'aux principaux points d'entrée terrestres et maritimes.
Ce visa permet un séjour pouvant aller jusqu'à 30 jours. Il est possible de demander une prolongation auprès des services d'immigration jordaniens sur place pour étendre la durée du séjour.
Les autorités peuvent également demander :
un billet de sortie du territoire (vol retour ou continuation),
une preuve de ressources financières suffisantes pour la durée du séjour.
Il est également possible d'obtenir un visa jordanien à l'avance en ligne via le portail officiel des visas électroniques (e-Visa) mis en place par les autorités jordaniennes.
Jordan Pass
Le Jordan Pass est un forfait officiel mis en place par le gouvernement jordanien permettant de combiner le visa d'entrée et l'accès à plus de 40 sites touristiques, dont le site archéologique de Pétra.
En achetant le Jordan Pass avant votre arrivée, les frais de visa sont inclus dans le tarif du pass, sous réserve de rester au minimum trois nuits en Jordanie. Le pass doit être acheté en ligne avant l'arrivée sur le territoire.
Voyage avec des enfants
Les mineurs doivent être titulaires de leur propre passeport valide couvrant la durée du séjour.
Dans certains pays européens, lorsqu'un mineur voyage sans l'un de ses parents, une autorisation de sortie du territoire peut être exigée selon la réglementation du pays de résidence.
Santé et vaccins
