Carthage and Sidi Bou Saïd Visits
To Tunis
Morning dedicated to visiting Punic Carthage.
After breakfast, we meet our accompanying team and set out to explore the traces of this ancient civilization. We begin with the National Museum of Carthage, which displays numerous artifacts and stories from this city dating back 3 millennia. We continue to the Tophet sanctuary, a site once dedicated to Phoenician deities, before heading towards the Punic ports, located nearby.
In the afternoon, we explore Roman Carthage, discovering the district of Roman villas and the archaeological area of the Antonin Baths. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, the Antonin Baths, dating from the 2nd century AD, are the largest of their kind in Africa at that time. Today, we can only observe the ruins, but given the extent of the site, we can only imagine the magnificence of the place.
At the end of the day, we head to Sidi Bou Saïd, a typical village of blue and white, offering beautiful panoramic views of the sea. We wander through its narrow streets, appreciating the charm of its moucharabiehs and the local atmosphere.
Return to the hotel or guesthouse for dinner and overnight stay.
Tunis, its medina and its souks
To Tunis
New day in Tunis! This one starts at the national Bardo museum, located in the Beylical palace. The museum houses various archaeological pieces, tracing the history of Tunisie, and its various civilizations. There is a large collection of Roman mosaics, making it the most beautiful and richest in the world.
Lunch in the medina and discovery of the city's main souks.
Return to the hotel or guesthouse for dinner and overnight.
The sites of Bulla Regia and Chemtou, arrival in Kef
This morning, we leave for Bulla Regia, an ancient Berber city, located two hours drive from Tunis. Bulla Regia is home to numerous remains including underground villas, a paleochristian basilica and forum districts.
Continuation to Chemtou, formerly known for the extraction of yellow marble, one of the most precious marbles of the Roman Empire. It is said to have supplied the site of Carthage. We plan to visit a quarry, the museum, the sacred hill, the theatre and Berber tombs.
Visit to Dougga and return to Kef
Le Kef → Dougga
We head towards the Dougga Archaeological Site, former capital of the Libyo-Punic state. We visit the theatre, the Compass Rose Square, the Capitol, the Temple of Caelestis, the House of Ulysses and the Sirens, the Licinian baths, the House of the Trifolium, the Cyclops Baths, the Libyo-Punic Mausoleum.
The site of Thuburbo Majus, Zaghouan and arrival in Hammamet
Route to Thuburbo Majus, another famous archaeological site, witness to the Phoenician-Punic era. You will find the remains of the capitol, a few Roman houses, the summer and winter baths and the Petroni palaestra.
Continue to Zaghouan, a small town with Andalusian charm. After lunch, we head to the Temple of Waters, built by the emperor Hadrian around 130 AD.

The information below concerns travelers who are nationals of the European Economic Area (EEA), Switzerland and Canada traveling to Tunisia for a tourist stay. As entry requirements may change, we recommend that you verify this information with the official authorities before your departure.
Passport
To enter Tunisia, your passport must be valid for at least six months after the date of entry into the country and must contain at least one blank page for immigration stamps.
The document must be in good condition (no damaged, torn or altered pages).
Nationals of certain EEA countries (including French citizens) may enter Tunisia with a national identity card that is still valid. However, it is recommended to travel with a valid passport.
Tourist stay without visa
Nationals of the European Economic Area, Switzerland and Canada benefit from visa exemption for tourist stays.
This exemption allows a stay of up to 90 days from the date of entry into Tunisian territory.
The authorities may request:
an exit ticket from the territory (return or onward flight),
proof of sufficient financial resources for the duration of the stay,
a accommodation reservation for at least the first few days of the stay.

Upon arrival in Tunisia, travelers may be asked to fill in an information form for the immigration services, which includes in particular:

This document is usually provided on board the aircraft or is available at the airport upon arrival.
Currency declaration
The introduction of foreign currency into Tunisia is permitted, but any amount exceeding 10,000 euros or equivalent must be declared to customs on arrival. The local currency, the Tunisian dinar (TND), cannot be imported or exported.
Traveling with children
Minors must hold their own passport (or national identity card according to their nationality) valid for the duration of the stay.
When a minor travels without one of their parents, an authorization to leave the territory may be required according to the regulations of the country of residence, as well as a letter of parental consent at the request of the Tunisian authorities.

Entry conditions may vary according to nationality. Travelers concerned should inquire with the embassy or consulate of Tunisia in their country of residence.
