Day-by-day itinerary

D1

A day between nature, culture and sensations in the Dominican Republic

Live an exclusive and personalized day, designed for 2 to 4 people from the same family or a small private group, with a private driver for the day.

This excursion combines cultural discovery and water activities, for an immersion between land and water, experienced at your own pace, away from mass tourism.

Your driver first takes you to the Cueva de las Maravillas, one of the most spectacular caves in the République Dominicaine, before heading to a peaceful natural lake where you can enjoy an introduction to water skiing or wakeboarding, accessible to both adults and children from age 6.

An ideal experience for those who want to combine relaxation, adventure and authenticity, in a private and friendly atmosphere.

The day begins in complete serenity, with private pickup from your hotel in Bayahibe, Dominicus or La Romana.

Your driver, English-speaking or Spanish-speaking depending on availability, takes you to one of the country's cultural treasures: the Cueva de las Maravillas("the cave of wonders").

This visit is conducted with a local English-speaking or Spanish-speaking guide, a specialist on the site.

You will discover cave paintings several centuries old, left by the Taíno — the first inhabitants of the island — as well as impressive rock formations highlighted by scenic lighting.

Upon leaving the cave, a stop is worthwhile to observe the rhinoceros iguanas, symbols of local wildlife. These peaceful reptiles evolve in a protected space, offering a fascinating glimpse into Dominican biodiversity.

After this cultural immersion, your driver takes you to a natural freshwater lake, located about 1 hour's drive away.

This green, calm and unspoiled setting is ideal for learning water sports in optimal safety conditions.

Led by professional instructors, each participant benefits from 15 to 20 minutes of personalized instruction, depending on their level and preferences: water skiing or wakeboarding.

The activity is open to children from age 6, for a fun and family experience.

After the activity, time to relax: lunch is served on site, in a friendly and authentic atmosphere.

You can then enjoy the surroundings for as long as needed before heading back to your hotel in the mid-afternoon.
