This circuit takes you to northern Norvège, between the Lofoten Islands and Vesterålen, where mountains, fjords and fishing villages meet by the sea. You alternate between cruising in the Trollfjord, discovering small colorful ports, clear sandy beaches and relaxing moments in charming small coastal towns.
The stay is punctuated by a sea outing to observe whales and several evenings with the possibility of spotting the northern lights, weather permitting, all accompanied by attentive local organization.

Day-by-day itinerary
From Svolvær to Henningsvær by cruise
Breakfast at the hotel, then departure for a day of exploration of the Lofoten Islands.
Departing from Svolvær, embark on a 2-hour cruise through the famous Trollfjord, in the heart of landscapes blending steep mountains and inland sea.
Continue towards Henningsvær, a charming fishing village, renowned for its cod fishing tradition and authentic atmosphere.
Free time to wander through its picturesque streets, visit art galleries or observe the fish drying racks typical of the coastal landscape.
Return to Svolvær and overnight at the hotel.
In the evening, possibility of northern lights observation if weather conditions permit.
Discovery of Southern Lofoten
Driving
Breakfast at the hotel, then departure for the discovery of the south of the archipelago.
First stop at the Skagsanden Beach, known for its black and white mixed sand and spectacular setting. Brief stop then at Ramberg beach, a large white sand beach by the roadside.
Continue driving to visit the Flakstad Church, built in the 18th century and representative of local architecture. You then reach Reine, an emblematic village, appreciated for its panoramic views of the fjords and surrounding mountains.
Continuation to a traditional village particularly well preserved, witness to the history of fishing in the archipelago.
Return to Svolvær for the night at the hotel.
In the evening, observation of the northern lights, weather permitting.
Landscape from Svolvær to Nyksund to Sortland
Breakfast at the hotel, then departure towards Stokmarknes, a small town surrounded by fjords, mountains and beaches. Possibility to participate in a guided tour of the Hurtigruten Museum, located on board the former ship MS Finnmarken (1956).
Continue on the road towards Nyksund, a restored former fishing village on the north coast of Vesterålen. Renowned for its authentic atmosphere, colorful wooden houses and picturesque streets, it was rehabilitated after a period of abandonment, notably thanks to the arrival of artists and craftspeople. Today, the village blends local culture and artistic life. Photo stops at points of interest along the way.
End of day, arrival in Sortland, check-in and overnight at the hotel.

Whale Safari in Andenes
Hotel breakfast, then drive to Andenes, a small coastal town recognized as one of the best spots in Norvège for whale watching.
Upon arrival, departure immediately for a whale watching safari at sea.

Between Beaches and Heritage
Breakfast at the hotel, then departure for Bleik, a white sand beach at the foot of a mountain, for a walk along the shore.
Continue the adventure with a visit to the Trondenes kirke, a medieval stone church dating from the 13th century, the largest in Northern Norvège, with its attached history museum.
Continue towards Harstad, a charming coastal town known for its cultural history, and a walk around the town.
Check-in and overnight at the hotel in Harstad.

Registration is considered firm and final after payment of a deposit of 30% of the total price and acceptance of the specific terms of sale.
The balance must be paid no later than 45 days before the departure date.

The information below concerns travelers who are nationals of the European Economic Area (EEA), Switzerland and Canada traveling to Norway for a tourist stay. Entry rules may change, so we recommend verifying the information with the official authorities before your departure.
Passport or identity card
Norway is a member of the Schengen area. Nationals of the EEA and Switzerland can enter Norway with a valid passport or national identity card.
Canadian nationals must carry a valid passport. It is recommended that it be valid for at least three months beyond your planned return date and that it contains at least one blank page.
The document must be in good condition (no damaged, torn or altered pages).
Tourist stay without visa
Nationals of the European Economic Area, Switzerland and Canada are exempt from visa requirements for tourist stays in Norway.
Nationals of the EEA and Switzerland may stay in Norway without limitation of duration as tourists, provided they comply with the rules relating to freedom of movement of persons.
Canadian nationals may stay up to 90 days within a 180-day period in the Schengen area, including Norway. This duration applies to all Schengen countries combined and not to Norway alone.
ETIAS travel authorization
From the date of entry into force of the European travel information and authorization system (ETIAS), Canadian nationals will need to obtain this authorization before traveling to Norway. ETIAS will be completed online, will be valid for several years and will allow multiple stays in the Schengen area.
Nationals of the EEA and Switzerland are not subject to this requirement.
We recommend verifying the entry into force date of ETIAS with the official authorities before your departure.
Travel with children
Minors must be holders of their own valid travel document (passport or, for EEA nationals, national identity card).
In certain European countries, when a minor travels without one of their parents, an authorization to leave the territory may be required according to the regulations of the country of residence.
Other nationalities
Entry conditions may vary depending on nationality. Affected travelers should inquire with the embassy or consulate of Norway in their country of residence.
