From Stockholm to vibrant Uppsala
Breakfast, then pick up your rental car before heading to Uppsala.
Free morning to discover this young university city, appreciated for its cathedral, student atmosphere and lively streets.
In the afternoon, visit Gamla Uppsala, a historic site of royal mounds and ancient Viking temples.

Historic Sigtuna Discovery

On the Traces of the Vikings
Breakfast, then departure on the road towards Stockholm.
Boarding for Birka, an ancient Viking city located on the island of Björkö. This crossing marks a pleasant break away from the city, between nature and heritage, before reaching one of the most emblematic sites of Viking history in Suède.
On site, visit the archaeological site and the Viking museum, to better understand the role of Birka in Viking times and discover the traces left by this civilization.
Return to Stockholm, then return of the rental car.

Registration is considered firm and final after payment of a deposit of 30% of the total price and acceptance of the specific terms of sale.
The balance must be paid no later than 45 days before the departure date.

The information below concerns travelers who are nationals of the European Economic Area (EEA), Switzerland, and Canada traveling to Sweden for a tourist stay. Entry rules may change, so we recommend you verify the information with the official authorities before your departure.
Passport or identity card
Sweden is a member of the European Union and the Schengen area. Nationals of the EEA and Switzerland can enter Sweden with a valid passport or a valid national identity card.
Canadian nationals must carry a valid passport for the entire duration of their stay. It is recommended that the document be in good condition (no damaged, torn, or altered pages).
Tourist stay without visa
Nationals of the European Economic Area and Switzerland benefit from free movement within the European Union and can stay in Sweden with no time limit for a tourist stay, without prior visa procedures.
Canadian nationals benefit from a visa exemption within the Schengen area, allowing a tourist stay up to 90 days within any 180-day period within the Schengen area.
ETIAS travel authorization (Canadian nationals)
Upon implementation of the European travel information and authorization system (ETIAS), Canadian nationals exempt from visas will need to obtain a travel authorization prior to traveling to Sweden or any other Schengen area country.
This electronic authorization must be requested online before departure and will be linked to the traveler's passport. It will notably concern:
passport information,
the traveler's personal information,
travel and health history.
It is recommended to verify the deployment status of ETIAS with the official authorities before your departure.
Traveling with children
Minors who are nationals of the EEA and Switzerland can travel with a valid national identity card or passport. Canadian minors must hold their own valid passport covering the duration of the stay.
In certain countries, when a minor travels without one of their parents, a travel authorization may be required according to the regulations of the country of residence.
Other nationalities
Entry conditions may vary depending on nationality. Concerned travelers should inquire with the Swedish embassy or consulate in their country of residence.
