Highlights
Day-by-day itinerary

Arrival in Laayoune
The guide welcomes us at Laâyoune airport.
We are then transferred to our Camp Bédouin, a 40-minute journey away.
We settle into the camp in a Bedouin tent with a breathtaking view of the salt lake.
If we have time, we can make a short detour to the small waterfall near the Camp as well as a hiking trip or take a 4x4 excursion to reach the dunes surrounding the Camp.
Visit to Sebkha Oum Dba
We head to visit the Sebkha Oum Dba on foot or by 4x4.
Among the activities to do, we can go searching for flint, salt flowers, sand roses and much more.
We also treat ourselves to a picnic in a panoramic cave near Mont Gara in the heart of the depression.
For the return, we travel across the sandy cliffs of the sebkha.

From Sebkah Tah to Amgriou
Camp Bedouin → Sebkha Tah
We take the path leading to the Tah sebkha.
We arrive at a promontory where we enjoy a panoramic view of the sebkha.
Then we will have the chance to have a picnic at the bottom of the sebkha below sea level.
Sebkha Tah → Amgriou
We embark on an off-piste adventure through the isolated dunes of the barkhan field, in the Amgriou plain.
We set up a wild bivouac under a Decathlon tent in the heart of the dunes.

The Atlantic coast
Amgriou → Camp Bedouin
We leave the camp to reach the Atlantic coast on an off-road route.
Along the way, we meet seaweed collectors in the fishing village of Amgriou.
Driving a 4x4 on the beach at low tide. Then we return to the Bedouin Camp off-road through the dunes.
Night at the Bedouin Camp.

The gueltas of Khaoui Nam
Camp Bedouin → Akhfennir
We are heading to Akhfenir, a true paradise for rod fishing enthusiasts. This village is located approximately 196 km north of Laâyoune and 112 km south of Tan-Tan.
We embark on a beautiful walk lasting one hour by boat to appreciate the exceptional beauty of the Naïla lagoon. This is located between Tarfaya and Akhfenir. It is one of the best sites in the southern region of Maroc.
We observe a large number of bird species there, including pink flamingos.
Akhfennir → Khaoui Nam
Journey on a 4x4 track along the edges of the sebkha Khaoui Nam.
We then explore the gueltas site with its impressive salty and ferruginous waterfalls flowing over a spectacular canyon in the heart of the desert.
Finally we spend the night in a wild camp under a Decathlon tent overlooking the canyon.

Return to Bedouin Camp
Khaoui Nam → Camp Bedouin
We continue the trails along the edges of the canyon. We cross the Khaoui Nam sebkah. We continue with the discovery of a dune field by 4x4.

What I love about travel is that moment when you leave the obvious path. That's when the landscape shifts, but more importantly, so does your perspective.
