The spirit of travel

The Tadrart is an exceptional region that offers travelers remarkable landscapes. The Tadrart is a sandstone massif, which extends 150 km from north to south and 30 km from east to west. It is the southern extension of the Libyan Tadrart Akakus. Its name means "small red mountain", in reference to the red color of its rocks and sand.

The Tadrart is a paradise for nature and history enthusiasts. It contains an invaluable cultural heritage, with thousands of rock paintings dating from the Neolithic period, which testify to the life of ancient inhabitants of the Sahara, when the climate was more humid and greener.

The Tadrart is explored on foot assisted by 4x4 vehicle, in the company of Tuareg guides, who know the region and its secrets perfectly. We travel through canyons, plateaus, dunes and natural arches. We can admire endless horizons, the changing lights of the end of the day and starry nights.
