Highlights
Day-by-day itinerary

Necropolis of Thebes and Navigation from Luxor to Esna
After breakfast, you set off to discover the Valley of the Kings, which has 62 tombs, with a visit to three tombs. You continue towards the Valley of the Queens, which brings together 75 tombs, of which two tombs are planned for a visit.
You continue with the funerary temple of Queen Hatshepsut, built at the top of a series of terraces accessible by long ramps surrounded by gardens. You discover there in particular sculptures telling the story of the divine birth of the pharaoh.

Discovering the Temple of Edfu
You sail to Edfou to discover the Temple of Edfou, dedicated to the falcon-headed god Horus. At the entrance of the sanctuary, you discover two black granite statues representing the deity.

From the temple of Kom-Ombo to Aswan and felucca ride
You join the Kom Ombo Temple, dating from the Ptolemaic period and dedicated to two deities: Haroëris, the falcon god, and Sobek, the crocodile god.
After the visit, you continue with the discovery of the Aswan High Dam, whose construction was entrusted to Soviet engineers in 1960 and which provides electricity to the country.
You then discover the unfinished obelisk, located in a large granite quarry. Abandoned due to a crack in the rock, it allows you to observe how these monuments were shaped in the granite massif.
The day continues with a visit to the Temple of Philae, dedicated to the goddess Isis, where you discover in particular its bas-reliefs, its frescoes and its capitals.

In the Footsteps of Ramesses II, Followed by a Felucca Ride
Early in the morning, you have the possibility to leave on an optional excursion to Abu Simbel. You discover the great temple built by Ramesses II, then the small temple of Queen Nefertari, also built by Ramesses II and dedicated to the goddess Hathor, goddess of love, music and beauty.
You then return to Aswan for lunch.
In the afternoon, you enjoy a felucca ride around Elephantine Island, before returning to Kom Ombo.

Discovery of the Karnak Religious Complex
You will discover the Karnak complex, a vast ensemble composed of temples, chapels and pylons. The site was rebuilt and developed over 2,000 years by successive pharaohs.
