After exploring the famous Pyramids of Giza, head to Upper Égypte and embark on a voyage along the river. From Luxor to Aswan, majestic temples, royal necropolises and landscapes along the Nile banks punctuate your journey and immerse you in several millennia of history.
The cruise allows you to pleasantly alternate between cultural discoveries and moments of relaxation on board, before returning to Cairo for a final immersion in the Égypte capital.

Welcome to Égypte!
Upon your arrival in Cairo, you are welcomed and assisted by our local representative.
You are then transferred to your hotel for check-in.
Giza Pyramids, National Museum and Flight to Luxor
After breakfast, you head off to discover the Giza Plateau and its three pyramids: Khufu, Khafre and Menkaure.
You will discover in particular the pyramid of Khufu, the largest of the three, as well as the pyramid of Khafre, which retains part of its original casing at its base. Beside them stands the Great Sphinx of Giza, 57 meters long and recognizable by its lion's body and human head.
You continue the day with a visit to the national museum, located in downtown Cairo.
Lunch at a typical restaurant is planned during the day.
You are transferred to Cairo airport to take your flight to Luxor.
Upon your arrival in Luxor, you board the boat and settle in for the rest of your journey.
Necropolis of Thebes and Beginning of the Nile Cruise
After breakfast, you depart to discover the necropolis of Thebes, located on the west bank of the Nile, facing Luxor.
You visit the Valley of the Kings, which contains 62 burials, with the discovery of three tombs. You continue with the Valley of the Queens, which has 75 burials, including two tombs scheduled for your visit.
In the afternoon, you return to the boat and begin your cruise on the Nile with navigation heading towards Esna.
Cruise discovering the Temple of Edfou
You sail to Edfou to discover the Temple of Edfou, dedicated to the falcon-headed god Horus. At the entrance to the sanctuary, you discover two black granite statues representing the divinity.
Kom Ombo, Philae and Discovery of Aswan
After breakfast, you set out to discover the Kom-Ombo temple, dating from the Ptolemaic period and dedicated to two deities: Haroeris, the hawk god, and Sobek, the crocodile god.
You then continue your journey towards Aswan, where you discover the Aswan High Dam, built between 1960 and 1970 by Soviet engineers, then the unfinished obelisk of Aswan, located in an ancient granite quarry.
The day continues with a felucca ride around Agilkia Island, before heading to the Philae temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis. You will discover its columns, its portico decorated with solar disks and its ceiling adorned with eagles with outstretched wings.
Abu Simbel Temples and Felucca Ride in Aswan
Early in the morning, you have the opportunity to take an optional excursion to Abu Simbel. You discover the great temple built by Ramesses II, then the small temple of Queen Nefertari, also built by Ramesses II and dedicated to the goddess Hathor, goddess of love, music and beauty.
In the afternoon, you enjoy a felucca sail around Elephantine Island.
Discovery of the Karnak Religious Complex
After breakfast, you set off to discover the Karnak complex, a vast ensemble comprising temples, chapels and pylons. The site was developed and rebuilt over more than 2,000 years by successive pharaohs.
Flight to Cairo and discovery of Old Cairo
After breakfast, you disembark and are transferred to Luxor Airport to take your flight to Cairo.
Upon your arrival, you discover the Old Cairo and its religious heritage. You visit the Coptic Museum, founded in 1910 by Marcus Simaïka, which houses an important collection of objects, fabrics, manuscripts, icons, artifacts and texts from the paleochristian period.
You continue with the Church of Saint Mary, whose courtyard mosaics tell the story of the Holy Family's journey in Égypte, then with the Mosque of Amr, the first mosque built on the African continent.
Lunch in a typical restaurant is planned.

The information below concerns travelers who are nationals of the European Economic Area (EEA), Switzerland, and Canada traveling to Egypt for a tourist stay. As entry requirements may change, we recommend verifying the information with the official authorities before your departure.
Passport
To enter Egypt, your passport must be valid for a minimum of six months beyond your entry date and must contain at least one blank page for immigration stamps and visa affixing.
The document must be in good condition (no damaged, torn, or altered pages).
Tourist Visa
Nationals of the European Economic Area, Switzerland, and Canada are required to obtain a visa to enter Egypt. Several options are available:
E-visa (electronic visa): You can apply online before departure through the official portal of the Egyptian authorities. This visa is generally granted for a tourist stay of up to 30 days and can be single-entry or multiple-entry depending on the option selected.
Visa on arrival: Available at most Egyptian international airports (Cairo, Hurghada, Sharm El-Sheikh, etc.), it permits a stay of up to 30 days. Its issuance is subject to payment of fees in foreign currency (generally in US dollars or euros).
The authorities may also require:
an outbound ticket (return or onward flight),
proof of sufficient financial resources for the duration of your stay,
a hotel booking confirmation for the duration of your trip.
Health and Vaccinations
No vaccination is mandatory to enter Egypt from the EEA, Switzerland, or Canada under normal conditions. However, certain vaccinations are recommended:
routine vaccinations up to date (diphtheria, tetanus, poliomyelitis, measles),
hepatitis A and hepatitis B,
typhoid, particularly if traveling outside the main tourist areas.
It is advisable to consult a doctor or international vaccination center at least four to six weeks before departure.
Traveling with Children
Minors must hold their own valid passport covering the duration of the stay as well as a valid visa.
In some European countries, when a minor travels without one of their parents, an exit authorization may be required according to the regulations of the country of residence.
Other Nationalities
Entry conditions may vary depending on nationality. Travelers concerned should inquire with the Embassy or Consulate of Egypt in their country of residence.
