Nouvo City Hotel
2 Soi Samsen 2, Khwaeng Ban Phan Thom, Khet Phra Nakhon, Krung Thep Maha Nakhon 10200, Thailand
Urban comfort hotel in Banglamphu's historic district, Bangkok: rooms of 32 to 38 m², spa, two pools and recognized halal dining.
Nouvo City Hotel occupies a strategic location in Banglamphu, the historic quarter of Bangkok also known as Old Bangkok City. The establishment combines modern comfort, recognized halal dining and services suited to both families and business travelers, with views over Banglamphu's historic canal.
Why choose Nouvo City Hotel
The hotel stands out for three concrete strengths. First, its location: on foot, you reach the Grand Palace, Rama VIII Bridge and Khao San Road, the heart of historic Bangkok. Second, its 100% halal cuisine, still uncommon in hotels of this category in Thailand. Finally, its complete wellness facilities: two pools, a rooftop spa in pavilions and a fitness center.
Ambiance and atmosphere
Nouvo City Hotel cultivates a calm urban atmosphere despite the buzz of Banglamphu. Common areas play with contemporary materials, and the canal view provides breathing room that contrasts with the rhythm of nearby Khao San Road. In the morning, the restaurant overlooking the canal sets the tone: relaxed ambiance, natural light, water views. In the evening, the lighting of the spa pavilions on the roof offers a rare perspective over the rooftops of old Bangkok.
The rooms
The hotel offers several room categories, suited to different traveler profiles.
- Superior Classic (32 m²): double bed or twin beds, rainfall shower, LED lighting. The most accessible choice.
- Deluxe Canal (32 m²): same size but with views of Banglamphu's historic canal and a more spacious bathroom.
- Grand Deluxe: family configuration with multiple beds and large window over the city.
- Diplomat Room (38 m²): designed for business travelers, with sleeping area, ergonomic desk and sitting area.
- Diplomat Corner Suite: the highest category, with separate living areas and private jacuzzi.

Services and facilities
For wellness, Sala Spa offers treatments in panoramic pavilions set on the roof. The two pools and Body Design fitness center round out the offering. Families have access to Sabai Kids Club on the 3rd floor, near the pool, with games, books and supervised activities for children.
Dining is based on two entirely halal establishments:
- Canal Restaurant: breakfast with views over Banglamphu canal and live cooking demonstrations.
- Sara Restaurant: open for over twenty years, award-winning, halal Thai, Indian and international cuisine at lunch and dinner. Room service available.
WiFi is free and accessible in all hotel areas. Internet terminals are also available in the lobby for travelers who prefer not to use their own device.
Location and access
The hotel is located in Banglamphu, in old Bangkok, along a canal. From Suvarnabhumi Airport, allow approximately one hour by taxi depending on traffic, sometimes more during peak hours. From Don Muang, the journey is roughly equivalent. Bus S1 from Suvarnabhumi and bus A4 from Don Muang serve Khao San Road: get off at the stop opposite Wat Bowon Niwet Wihan, the closest to the hotel.
Another option: take the Airport Rail Link to Phaya Thai station, then a taxi to reach the hotel (duration varies with traffic, plan generously in the late afternoon).
What to see nearby
The location in Banglamphu allows you to walk to the major sites of old Bangkok:
- The Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew, within walking distance.
- Khao San Road, the legendary thoroughfare for travelers in Southeast Asia.
- Rama VIII Bridge and the Chao Phraya riverbanks.
- Wat Bowon Niwet Wihan, the hotel's immediate neighbor.
- Museums and craft shops in the historic quarter.
To extend your stay or compare with other addresses in the same area, you can visit Hotel Baan Noppawong, Baan Chart or Chillax Heritage, also located in old Bangkok.
