A countryside resort in Hang Dong, fifteen minutes from Chiang Mai's center, with views over rice paddies and tropical forest, infinity pool, and complimentary shuttle service.

Planning a romantic getaway or family vacation in the Thai city of Chiang Mai? Veranda High Resort is ready to welcome you.

A charming hotel on the outskirts of Chiang Mai

Veranda High Resort is nestled in breathtaking mountainous surroundings, punctuated by rolling hills and fertile valleys. The pleasures of rural life are within reach, yet the resort is just a quarter of an hour's drive from Chiang Mai. The rooms are air-conditioned and feature a wardrobe, coffee machine, and tablet. The infinity pool, generously-sized bathroom, and private balcony invite relaxation and peace of mind. Whether you're visiting for business or leisure, Veranda High Resort is an excellent choice for enjoying a superb stay away from the tourist hustle of Chiang Mai. The setting may prove too romantic for night owls and solo travelers, but it's truly a favorite among newlyweds.

Where is the hotel located?

The Veranda vacation resort opened its doors in the sought-after Hang Dong district. As a point of reference, it sits 7 km from Wat Phra That Doi Kham and the prestigious Chiang Mai Zoo. Neither too close nor too far from the city center. A complimentary shuttle service transports guests to Chiang Mai's historic heart. The journey is approximately 20 km. If you're arriving by air, it will take you around 21 minutes by car from Chiang Mai International Airport to reach the hotel. However, allow three and a half hours should your plane land at Lampang International Airport. Parking is available to guests free of charge, with no reservation needed.

Selection of tourist activities

Tourism in Chiang Mai is inseparable from heritage exploration. Beautifully perched atop hillsides, Buddhist monuments reward those who climb them with spiritual awakening. Don't miss Wat Pha Lat and its waterfall, the Wat Phra That Doi Kham with its Buddha statue standing over 17 meters tall. A landmark of Lanna monarchy, the Wat Chedi Luang is a must for history enthusiasts.

The Rose of the North also offers fine shopping experiences. To find excellent handicrafts, venture to Chiang Mai's night bazaar, the Kalare bazaar, or Ton Payom market. Street food comes highly recommended in these vibrant and lively spots.

Close to Veranda High Resort, many upscale restaurants await discerning palates: Khao Mao Khao Fang, Good View Restaurant, and many others.

Upon request, a shuttle can transport you to the city center to explore temples, monuments, and museums.

High-end rooms and suites

Veranda hotel guests have everything needed for a relaxing stay. The comfort of the facilities is impeccable. This is the least one can say when each room features air conditioning, flat-screen television, and complimentary Internet access. The breathtaking views over rice paddies, tea gardens, and tropical forest are a standout feature of the establishment. Guests will appreciate state-of-the-art amenities and a private bathroom equipped with quality toiletries.

Breakfast is complimentary: Asian, American, French, or Lanna specialties… there's plenty to choose from.

Leisure facilities

Your stay at Veranda High Resort would be incomplete without sunbathing by the pool, enjoying a cocktail at the bar, or unwinding in the spa. Book lovers can relax in the hotel's expansive library.
