A restored teak timber warehouse nestled within a Chinatown temple, Loy La Long offers seven rooms overlooking the Chao Phraya River.

Discover Bangkok's hidden oasis! The Loy La Long Hotel sits within the picturesque setting of a temple on the banks of the Chao Phraya River. The rooms and common areas are adorned with numerous antiques that infuse them with a nostalgic atmosphere conducive to rest.

Discovering Loy La Long Hotel

Nothing hints at the existence of this haven of peace in vibrant Chinatown. Tucked between the shops lining one of Bangkok's most bustling neighborhoods, a narrow alley reveals itself and leads to the entrance of Pathum Khong Ratcha Worawihan Temple, where Loy La Long Hotel is sheltered. If you seek discretion and tranquility while remaining close to urban conveniences, you've found the right place.

The Loy La Long Hotel occupies a century-old warehouse surrounded by greenery overlooking the Chao Phraya River. Once again, don't be fooled by its modest façade—the magic unfolds inside! The owners have restored the original teak timber structures, then added modern amenities to blend authenticity with comfort. Murals and an array of antiques enhance the establishment's bygone charm. With only seven rooms, this intimate hotel breathes hospitality and warmth for a peaceful Bangkok stay.

Seven Warm Havens for Your Stay

All seven rooms at Loy La Long Hotel feature wooden walls and polished parquet flooring. Each displays a different color palette to create varied atmospheres. Like the rest of the building, you'll find treasured antiques throughout: vintage lamps, metal basins in the bathrooms, leather armchairs and countless other gems. Comfort receives equal attention. The rooms are fully air-conditioned and equipped with modern amenities such as television, refrigerator, Wi-Fi connection, and more.

Traveler favorites, the riverside rooms facing the Chao Phraya feature large bay windows to appreciate the river landscape. The other units offer private balconies to enjoy the scenery equally.

A Place for Relaxation and Escape

Loy La Long Hotel boasts splendid terraces overlooking the Chao Phraya River. Watch the ballet of boats and sunsets against Bangkok's towering skyline. Meanwhile, you can borrow a book from the establishment's small library, order a coffee at the bar and savor a moment of culture in complete serenity. The common lounge is a welcoming space open to all, fostering meetings and exchanges. However, the verandas on the first and second floors are strictly reserved for hotel guests.

As for dining, you'll delight in Asian flavors. The menu highlights Thai specialties, naturally, but also includes Korean and Japanese options. Crispy pork neck accompanied by papaya salad with shrimp is a popular dish sure to tantalize your palate. At breakfast, beyond Western options, you can also try the famous Vietnamese kai gatah (fried eggs, sausage, bacon, bread, onion and garlic). The accompaniments are plentiful: coffee, tea, milk, yogurt, cereals, fresh juices, fruits, and more.
