How to get there?

There are many ways to reach Koh Tao island:

• By plane: take a domestic or international flight to Samui Airport on the neighboring island of Koh Samui. From there, board the ferry to Koh Tao and allow two to three hours for the journey.
• By land and sea: travel by bus or train to Chumphon or Surat Thani on the mainland. These two cities are the main departure points for ferries to Koh Tao. The crossing from Chumphon takes approximately two hours, while from Surat Thani, allow at least four hours.
• By boat from nearby islands: regular ferries operate between the Samui-Phangan-Tao trio.
