Welcome services at Tambolaka airport by your English-speaking guide and you then start your discovery of Sumba with a visit to the Sumba museum, which offers a first approach to local traditions, ikat fabrics and Marapu beliefs. Later, you’ll stop at the Talasi foundation, committed to preserving the craftsmanship and cultural heritage of Sumba. You’ll also discover a traditional salt cooking site, according to ancestral methods, and, at the end of the day, transfer to Mananga Aba to admire a spectacular sunset on the west coast.
Transfer in the morning to the megalithic village of Rattengaro, famous for its high traditional houses and stone tombs facing the ocean. Continuation to the beach of Pero, vast expanse of sand beaten by the waves, ideal for a contemplative break. In the afternoon, you’ll swim in the Waikuri lagoon, a natural saltwater pool with turquoise reflections, nestled between the rocks.

This morning, you’ll visit the village of Manola, known for its traditional architecture and rural setting. Pursuit towards the fall of Waikelo, hidden in lush vegetation. You’ll then discover the villages of Waigalli and Pray Goly, renowned for their ancestral houses and megalithic tombs. End of the day at Rua beach, wild and uncrowded, ideal for a seaside break.

Visit to the emblematic village of Prai Ijing, one of the most important traditional villages in western Sumba, dominated by its houses with slender roofs. Stop at the Lalopu falls, accessible by a short walk. You’ll then cross the island towards the east in the direction of Waingapu, through cultivated fields, open savannas and rolling hills. Photo stop in Wairinding, famous for its golden savannah landscapes. Arrival in Waingapu at the end of the day.

Transfer to the village of Prai Natang, traditional village in eastern Sumba. Continuation to the Tanggedu Falls, often nicknamed the 'Grand Canyon of Sumba', with their rock formations and natural pools. In the afternoon, you’ll relax on the beach of Puru Kambera, a long sandy strip bordered by savannah, sometimes frequented by wild horses.

Exploration of the eastern landscapes of Sumba with a stop at Bukit Tanara, offering vast panoramas of the surrounding hills. Visit of the Wai Marang falls, accessible after a walk across green landscapes. Passage through the green hills of the region and visit of the traditional village of Rende, one of the oldest in eastern Sumba. At the end of the day, stop at Walakiri beach, famous for its mangroves and poetic sunsets.
