Welcome to Lusaka!
Upon your arrival at Lusaka airport, you are welcomed and transferred in a private vehicle to your boutique hotel. You head to Latitude 15, located approximately 20 minutes away by road, for your first stop in Zambie.
You settle into a double room and enjoy your evening freely. Dinner is available on-site at Latitude 15. You spend this night with breakfast included.

Flight to South Luangwa
Lusaka → South Luangwa National Park
After breakfast, you are transferred to the airport for your flight from Lusaka to the South Luangwa National Park.
Upon arrival, allow approximately 45 minutes to reach the park entrance, then approximately 35 minutes on a dirt road to reach your camp, located along the river.
You settle in for two nights in a double chalet at Kafunta Lodge.
After lunch, you head out for your first safari in the concession, if the schedule permits.
Dinner at the lodge. You stay on an all inclusive basis, with drinks included.

Safaris in South Luangwa National Park
After breakfast, departure for a 4x4 safari to discover South Luangwa National Park, located in northeastern Zambia. The park is part of the Luangwa Valley, itself integrated into the Great Rift Valley.
Spanning 9,050 km², South Luangwa is home to a significant concentration of wildlife. It is bounded by the Luangwa River to the east and by the Muchinga Escarpment to the west. Classified as a nature reserve in 1938, the region became a national park in 1971.
Several villages and wildlife management areas border the Luangwa River, around which different communities live, notably the Kunda, present in the Mfuwe region for several centuries. The river, whose name means "fishing net", welcomes a large population of hippopotamuses.
With more than 60 species of mammals and over 400 species of birds, as well as several endemic species such as the Thornicroft's giraffe, South Luangwa is also recognized for leopard viewing and for its pioneering role in walking safaris.

Immersion in a Remote Area of South Luangwa
After an early breakfast, you depart for a transfer to a more remote part of the South Luangwa National Park. Along the way, the landscapes change and you pass through a Mopane forest before reaching your new camp.
You settle in for two nights at Three Rivers Camp, an intimate camp consisting of only five tents, offering a peaceful atmosphere in the heart of nature.
From the camp, you can explore the park during 4x4 safaris or walking safaris, depending on your preferences and the activities offered on site.

The surroundings of Mfuwe
After breakfast, you head towards the entrance of the South Luangwa National Park to reach Kafunta Lodge, where you will spend your last two nights.
Back at the lodge, you can enjoy the hide built under the platform, a privileged spot for observing animals coming nearby.
Depending on your preferences, it is also possible to visit the Mfuwe village and discover the community projects developed in the region.

Flight to the Lower Zambezi
South Luangwa National Park → Parc national de Lower Zambezi
After breakfast, you depart by car to Mfuwe airport.
You then board a Cessna flight to Jeki, then join the Royal Zambezi Lodge, located in the Game Management Area (GMA) of the Lower Zambezi National Park.
From this bush camp, you can conduct safaris in both the park and the GMA, with no barriers between the two spaces, which allows animals to move freely.
You settle into a Deluxe double room for the next three nights.
In the afternoon, departure for your first Zambezi River cruise, a beautiful introduction to this region.

Passeport
Pour entrer en Zambie, votre passeport doit être valide au minimum six mois après la date d'entrée dans le pays et comporter au moins deux pages vierges pour les tampons d'immigration.
Le document doit être en bon état (pas de pages détériorées, déchirées ou modifiées).
Visa touristique
La plupart des ressortissants de l'Espace économique européen, de la Suisse et du Canada doivent être en possession d'un visa pour entrer en Zambie. Ce visa peut être obtenu de plusieurs façons :
en ligne avant le départ via le portail officiel eVisa zambien,
à l'arrivée (visa on arrival) dans certains aéroports et postes frontières internationaux.
Le visa touristique est généralement accordé pour un séjour jusqu'à 30 jours, avec possibilité de prolongation auprès du Département de l'immigration zambien. Des visas de 90 jours peuvent être délivrés selon les cas.
Des frais de visa sont applicables et varient selon la nationalité et la durée du séjour. Il est recommandé de s'acquitter de ces frais en espèces (dollars américains) si le visa est obtenu à l'arrivée.
Les autorités peuvent également demander :
un billet de sortie du territoire (vol retour ou continuation),
une preuve de ressources financières suffisantes pour la durée du séjour,
une réservation d'hébergement.
UNIVISA (visa régional)
La Zambie et le Zimbabwe proposent conjointement l'UNIVISA, un visa unique permettant d'entrer librement dans les deux pays au cours d'un même séjour. Ce visa est particulièrement adapté aux voyageurs souhaitant visiter les chutes Victoria, situées à la frontière des deux pays.
L'UNIVISA s'obtient à l'arrivée dans les aéroports et postes frontières participants, ou en ligne, et est valable 30 jours.
Santé
Aucun vaccin n'est obligatoire pour entrer en Zambie, sauf si vous arrivez en provenance d'un pays où la fièvre jaune est endémique, auquel cas la présentation d'un certificat international de vaccination contre la fièvre jaune est exigée.
Il est fortement recommandé de consulter un médecin ou un centre de vaccination avant le départ. Les vaccinations suivantes sont généralement conseillées :
mise à jour du calendrier vaccinal habituel (hépatite A, typhoïde, etc.),
vaccination contre la fièvre jaune recommandée,
prophylaxie antipaludéenne fortement conseillée, la malaria étant présente dans l'ensemble du pays.
Voyage avec des enfants
Les mineurs doivent être titulaires de leur propre passeport valide couvrant la durée du séjour.
Lorsqu'un mineur voyage sans l'un ou les deux parents, il est recommandé de se munir d'une lettre d'autorisation parentale, accompagnée des copies des pièces d'identité des parents. Les autorités zambiennes peuvent être particulièrement vigilantes sur ce point afin de lutter contre la traite des êtres humains.
Dans certains pays européens, une autorisation de sortie du territoire peut être exigée selon la réglementation du pays de résidence.

Les conditions d'entrée peuvent varier selon la nationalité. Les voyageurs concernés doivent se renseigner auprès de l'ambassade ou du consulat de Zambie de leur pays de résidence.
