This circuit takes you to discover the wildlife, magnificent landscapes and local populations of southern Africa. It covers the magnificent desert landscapes of the Namib Desert, passing through the Namibian coast where you will visit the largest fur seal colony in southern Africa. You will then be amazed by the abundant wildlife of Etosha Park, which will be completed by the discovery of animals adapted to the aquatic environments of the Caprivi Strip and the Chobe National Park, culminating your trip at the majestic Victoria Falls, ranked among the most impressive in the world.
Throughout the itinerary, landscapes evolve between red dunes, canyons, savannas, rivers and lush forests. The safaris offer numerous opportunities to observe elephants, lions, giraffes, hippopotamuses, crocodiles, buffalo and a wide variety of birds in their natural habitat. River cruises on the Caprivi and Chobe rivers complete the experience by offering another approach to African wildlife.

Sossusvlei, located in the Namib-Naukluft national park, is famous for its spectacular red dunes, among the highest in the world. This iconic landscape, contrasting with the blue sky, makes it one of the flagship destinations in Namibia and a paradise for photographers. Visitors can observe varied desert wildlife, climb the "Big Daddy" dune, explore the unique Deadvlei site or enjoy a hot air balloon flight with champagne breakfast in the heart of the dunes.
Swakopmund
Namib-Naukluft National Park → Swakopmund
Swakopmund, a coastal Namibian town with colonial charm, blends German influences and Namibian culture. Bordered by the ocean and the desert, the town's architecture, relaxed atmosphere and pleasant climate make it a very enjoyable place to visit. Capital of tourism on the Skeleton Coast, it offers a wide range of adventure activities, including quad biking, paragliding, horseback riding and desert excursions.
Twyfelfontein
Twyfelfontein, located in the Kunene region in northwest Namibia, is famous for its spectacular Huab valley and its perennial spring. The site hosts one of Africa's largest concentrations of rock art, with engravings dating back over 6,000 years. Visitors can explore numerous sacred ritual sites and enjoy shaded campsites along the Aba-Huab river.
South of Etosha
Etosha South, south of the Etosha National Park, is a collection of reputable private wildlife reserves accessible via Andersson's Gate. This region is home to rich wildlife, including lions, giraffes, elephants and rhinoceroses. Visitors can enjoy guided 4×4 safaris, half-day or full-day excursions, often including a picnic accompanied by wine.
To Swakopmund
East of Etosha

Etosha East, in the eastern part of the Etosha National Park, is a vast semi-arid savanna area dotted with waterholes and isolated campsites. Dominated by the spectacular Etosha salt lake, visible from space, this region is home to abundant wildlife: lions, elephants, black rhinoceros, giraffes and many bird species, notably pink flamingos and ostriches.

Located in northern Namibie, on the banks of the Okavango River, Runduis the capital of the East Kavango region. Renowned for its wooden sculpture market, it is an ideal stopover on the road leading to Katima Mulilo, Popa Falls and Mahangu Reserve. Visitors can observe diverse wildlife, kayak on the Kavango River and enjoy wildlife and bird watching activities.
Divundu
From Rundu to Divundu by road B8.
Divundu, a small town located east of Rundu, on the banks of the Okavango, is an ideal starting point for exploring the parks and reserves of the region. Visitors can take boat safaris, observe wildlife, fish or discover Mahango wildlife park. The spectacular Popa Falls are not to be missed, and the town also serves as a starting point towards Botswana and the Okavango Delta.
Kwando River
From Divundu to the Kwando River via the B8 road.
Located in the Namib-Naukluft National Park, Sossusvlei is famous for its impressive red dunes, among the highest in the world. This emblematic landscape, which contrasts with the blue sky, is among the must-see sites in Namibia and constitutes a privileged location for photographers. Visitors can observe varied desert wildlife, climb the "Big Daddy" dune, discover the unique site of Deadvlei, or enjoy a hot air balloon flight with a champagne breakfast in the heart of the dunes.
The Kwando River, which crosses the Caprivi Strip in northwestern Namibia, forms a natural border between Namibia, Zambia, and Angola. It irrigates a region rich in natural reserves, attracting abundant wildlife: elephants, hippopotamuses, crocodiles, zebras, red lechwes, and more than 400 bird species. Visitors can stay in lodges along the river and enjoy activities such as wildlife and bird watching, fishing, and camping.
Kasane
Night in lodge
Kasane, a charming town in northeastern Botswana, is located on the edge of Chobe National Park. There is no barrier between nature and the town, making it possible to encounter elephants and hippopotamuses. Visitors can go on a safari, take a sunset cruise, visit local villages or explore Victoria Falls. Unique sites such as Sedudu Valley, ideal for observing leopards and an ancient baobab tree once used as a prison, add to the region's charm.
Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe)
The Victoria Falls, located between Zambia and Zimbabwe, are one of the most impressive waterfalls in the world, with a width of 1,708 meters. Easily accessible from Zimbabwe, they attract many visitors thanks to the nearby town of Victoria Falls. The region offers numerous adventure activities, including scenic flights, rafting, bungee jumping, kayaking, and excursions in the Chobe National Park.

Passeport
Pour entrer en Namibie, votre passeport doit être valide au minimum six mois après la date d'entrée dans le pays et comporter au moins deux à trois pages vierges pour les tampons d'immigration.
Le document doit être en bon état (pas de pages détériorées, déchirées ou modifiées).
Séjour touristique sans visa
Les ressortissants de l'Espace économique européen, de la Suisse et du Canada bénéficient d'une exemption de visa pour les séjours touristiques en Namibie.
Cette exemption permet un séjour pouvant aller jusqu'à 90 jours par période de 12 mois. La durée de séjour autorisée est précisée par l'agent d'immigration à l'entrée sur le territoire.
Les autorités peuvent demander :
un billet de sortie du territoire (vol retour ou continuation),
une preuve de ressources financières suffisantes pour la durée du séjour,
la confirmation d'une réservation d'hébergement ou un itinéraire de voyage.
Carte d'arrivée
À l'arrivée en Namibie, il vous sera demandé de remplir un formulaire d'entrée sur le territoire (carte d'arrivée) remis généralement dans l'avion ou disponible aux postes frontières et dans les aéroports internationaux.
Ce formulaire requiert notamment :
les informations du passeport,
les détails du vol ou du moyen de transport emprunté,
l'adresse du premier hébergement en Namibie,
la durée prévue du séjour.
Santé et vaccinations
Aucun vaccin n'est obligatoire pour entrer en Namibie sauf en provenance d'un pays à risque de fièvre jaune, auquel cas un certificat international de vaccination contre la fièvre jaune est exigé.
À titre préventif, il est recommandé de consulter un médecin ou un centre de vaccination avant le départ. Les vaccinations suivantes sont généralement conseillées :
hépatites A et B,
typhoïde,
tétanos-diphtérie-poliomyélite.
La prophylaxie antipaludéenne est fortement recommandée pour les voyages dans le nord du pays, notamment dans les régions du Caprivi (Zambèze), du Kavango et d'Etosha. Consultez votre médecin pour un traitement adapté à votre situation.
Voyage avec des enfants
Les mineurs doivent être titulaires de leur propre passeport valide couvrant la durée du séjour.
La Namibie applique des règles strictes concernant les voyages de mineurs. Lorsqu'un enfant voyage avec un seul parent ou sans ses parents, il est fortement recommandé de se munir :
d'une autorisation de voyage signée par l'autre parent ou par les deux parents en cas de voyage avec un tiers,
de l'acte de naissance original de l'enfant,
des justificatifs de la situation familiale le cas échéant (jugement de garde, acte de décès, etc.).

Les conditions d'entrée peuvent varier selon la nationalité. Les voyageurs concernés doivent se renseigner auprès de l'ambassade ou du consulat de Namibie de leur pays de résidence.
