Along the trails, cross hills covered with vineyards, perched medieval villages and wine estates renowned for their great wines, such as Barolo and Barbaresco. Welcome to the Langhe
Here you are in the Langhes, this true paradise of gastronomy. You will be able to taste the succulent red wines of Barolo and Barbaresco, savor the famous white truffles and discover all the other products of the land that make this region renowned. You will have the joy of discovering these delights over the coming days. You settle into your hotel in Alba, ready to begin this culinary adventure.
Barbaresco and Neive
This morning you begin your first hike and leave Alba by crossing vineyards and orchards with shimmering colors, along the Tanaro river, heading towards Barbaresco, this fortified village renowned worldwide for its great wines. You admire in particular its tower and castle dating from the Middle Ages, as well as the extraordinary views over the surrounding countryside. Next, you discover with wonder the village of Neive, one of the most aesthetic villages in Italie, where your first physical efforts in Piedmont territory are rewarded with a wine tasting in a local enoteca.
You return to Alba by bus in the afternoon and spend the night in the same hotel, enjoying well-deserved rest after a day full of discoveries.
Vineyards, hazelnut groves and truffles
Your walk today begins near La Morra, after a private car transfer to the starting point. A curious multicolored chapel welcomes you: the Cappella del Barolo. You walk through fields, vineyards and hazelnut groves on hills offering lovely views of the countryside at every moment. You pass through the village of La Morra, nicknamed the balcony of the Langhes, before arriving at Roddi for a tasting of the local pride: the truffle.
You then take the return path towards Alba, running along the Tanaro river, enjoying the peaceful landscapes and the tranquility of the surrounding nature.
Barolo Castle
After a short car transfer, you begin your hike at Castiglione d'Alba, a very charming small town that overlooks the Talloria valley. You walk towards one of the region's emblems, the majestic Barolo Castle, where the famous grand cru wine is produced. A few kilometers further on, you arrive at Novello, perched above the valley. A small visit to its viewpoint allows you to better appreciate and understand the topography of the region.
Your steps finally lead you to Monforte d'Alba, a small village whose historical charm invariably delights visitors. You are captivated by its charming streets and ancient buildings. You settle into your hotel, ready to relax after a full day. This evening, dinner is included, offering you the opportunity to savor local specialties in a friendly atmosphere.
Wine Tasting in Serralunga d'Alba
At the beginning of the day, you wander through the countryside, dotted with fields and charming chapels, heading towards the superb village of Serralunga d'Alba. Its castle is particularly beautiful, perched on a small hill overlooking the village and the surrounding vineyards. You take full advantage of this timeless haven of peace by visiting a wine cellar where you can taste local specialties.
You return to Monforte and spend the night in the same hotel, enjoying a relaxing evening after a full day.
In the Belbo Valley
Monforte d'Alba → Cerreto Langhe
The day begins with a short car transfer to Cerreto Langhe, where you visit the charming village church. You take time to admire its architecture and soak in the peaceful atmosphere of this place.
Cerreto Langhe → Cortemilia
Your last hike in this region of the Haute Langhe is very varied. You cross hazelnut fields, woods, rivers and valleys, going up and down in this beautiful Piedmont countryside. You pass in particular by the tower Torre Bormida as well as by the charming village of Bergolo, typical of the region. The endpoint of your walk is Cortemilia, an old Roman town that you have plenty of time to visit.
Finally, at the end of your wanderings, you will be transferred by car to Asti, where you will settle in for the night. You take advantage of this last evening to rest and recall the highlights of your adventure.

Registration is considered firm and final after payment of a deposit of 30% of the total price and acceptance of the specific terms of sale.

The information below concerns travelers who are nationals of the European Economic Area (EEA), Switzerland, and Canada traveling to Italy for a tourist stay. As entry rules may change, we recommend verifying the information with the official authorities before your departure.
Passport and ID card
Italy is a member of the European Union and part of the Schengen area. Nationals of the EEA can enter Italy with a valid passport or national ID card. The document must be in good condition (no damaged, torn, or altered pages).
Swiss nationals, although not EU members, benefit from bilateral agreements allowing them to enter Italy with a valid ID card or passport.
Canadian nationals must hold a valid passport for the entire duration of their stay. It is recommended that it remain valid for at least three months after the scheduled departure date from the Schengen area.
Tourist stay without visa
Nationals of the EEA and Switzerland benefit from freedom of movement within the European area and are not subject to any duration restrictions for their tourist stays in Italy.
Canadian nationals benefit from visa exemption for tourist stays in the Schengen area. This exemption allows a maximum stay of 90 days within any 180-day period, across all Schengen countries combined. Beyond this duration, a long-stay visa is required.
ETIAS travel authorization
As of the entry into force of the European system, Canadian nationals will be required to obtain an ETIAS (European Travel Information and Authorisation System) authorization before any travel to the Schengen area, of which Italy is part.
This electronic authorization, distinct from a visa, must be requested online before departure. It will be linked to the traveler's passport and is generally valid for several years. We recommend verifying the status of this system with the official authorities before your departure.
Travel with children
Minors must hold their own valid travel document (passport or, for EEA nationals, national ID card).
In some countries, when a minor travels without one of their parents, an exit authorization from the territory may be required according to the regulations of the country of residence.
Other nationalities
Entry conditions may vary depending on nationality. Travelers concerned should inquire with the embassy or consulate of Italy in their country of residence.
