From Aéroport César Manrique-Lanzarote
Upon your arrival in Lanzarote, you pick up your rental vehicle and head towards the village of Yaiza, considered one of the most beautiful on the island. This first journey offers a glimpse of the volcanic landscapes that make Lanzarote famous and marks the beginning of your discovery of the Canaries in complete freedom. Once settled at your accommodation, take advantage of the rest of the day to soak up the peaceful atmosphere of Yaiza before your explorations begin.
Free visit to Timanfaya Park
You take the road towards Timanfaya National Park, one of the most emblematic sites in Lanzarote.
Nicknamed the Montañas del Fuego, these mountains of fire owe their name to the major volcanic eruptions of the 1730s, when more than 100 volcanoes transformed the south of the island. For six years, this volcanic activity reshaped the landscape and led to the destruction of several villages. The last eruption on the island dates back to 1824.
Today, Timanfaya National Park attracts visitors eager to discover this universe shaped by lava. Following the route originally imagined by artist and architect César Manrique, a native of the island, you traverse a mineral landscape that deeply marks the identity of Lanzarote. Often compared to a lunar landscape, Timanfaya above all reveals a raw, almost pristine earth, offering a glimpse of what our planet may have been at its beginnings.
The Must-See Attractions of Lanzarote
Today, we suggest you discover three must-see sites in Lanzarote. Your first stop takes you to the Cueva de los Verdes.
Cueva de los Verdes is a volcanic tunnel formed by the Corona volcano. It is one of the longest and most fascinating in the world, with more than 6 kilometers of galleries extending from the crater. The visit allows you to explore approximately one kilometer of this volcanic tube, for an immersive discovery in a unique mineral setting.
Cueva De Los Verdes → Jameos Del Agua
Just a few minutes' drive will take you to the Jameos del Agua, another natural masterpiece of Lanzarote.
The Jameos del Agua are located inside the volcanic tunnel created by the eruption of the La Corona volcano, in its section closest to the ocean. This site owes its name to the presence of an interior lake, which constitutes a unique geological formation. Imagined and developed by artist Cesar Manrique, this space combines nature and artistic intervention in a remarkable setting.
Jameos Del Agua → Mirador Del Río
You then continue your itinerary towards the northern tip of Lanzarote to reach one of the island's most beautiful viewpoints.
The Mirador del Río is perched on a volcanic rock promontory overlooking the sea at 475 meters high. It offers a clear view of the island of La Graciosa and allows you to fully appreciate the landscapes and environment of this part of Lanzarote. An ideal stop to enjoy the panorama.

After this day dedicated to Lanzarote's iconic sites, you head back to Yaiza, crossing the volcanic landscapes one last time that make the island's unique character.
Free day to visit Los Hervideros and Lago Verde
This free day invites you to discover two remarkable sites in Lanzarote. You first head towards Los Hervideros, on the southwest coast of the island.
With its volcanoes, the island offers the observation of a natural phenomenon characteristic of the Canaries: a coastline formed by cooled lava flows descending to the ocean. At Los Hervideros, the site is arranged to allow you to admire the waves crashing against these singular rock formations. This stop is a beautiful way to observe the meeting between the sea and volcanic rock.

You then continue your itinerary towards Lago Verde, located just a few minutes away.
Discovery of Lago Verde | Approximately 45 min visit
Also called La Laguna de los Clicos, this site was formed following the 1730 eruptions. This green lagoon, opening onto the ocean like a natural amphitheater, actually occupies part of a volcano's crater. A place shaped by fire, wind and sea, which leaves a lasting mark on the discovery of the island.

After this interlude in the heart of Lanzarote's volcanic landscapes, you head back on the road towards Yaiza, skirting this spectacular coast one last time where ocean and lava meet.

Today, you are leaving Lanzarote to reach the island of Fuerteventura. You take the road towards the port of Playa Blanca to board with your rental vehicle on the ferry.
To Corralejo
The ferry departure is scheduled for 1:30 PM, with arrival in Corralejo at 1:55 PM. This short crossing allows you to reach Fuerteventura while enjoying panoramic views of the two Canaries islands.
Upon your arrival, you join your hotel located in Corralejo to settle in and begin discovering the island.
Corralejo Dunes and Its Natural Park

Today, we invite you to discover Corralejo and its natural environment, between volcanic landscapes and vast expanses of sand.
Dominated by the split volcano of Bayuyo, which reaches an altitude of 271 metres, Corralejo is today one of the main towns in Fuerteventura. Originally a simple fishing village, it has become an important place on the island, particularly thanks to its natural environment.
On its outskirts extend the famous dunes of Corralejo natural park, which make up an arid landscape shaped by the erosion of shells, molluscs and other marine organisms. This space evokes a setting of open sea and vast expanses, where calm and a sense of space mingle.
The dunes are bordered by long stretches of fine white sand, appreciated especially for windsurfing and surfing. A walk along these ten kilometres of beaches is one of the discoveries not to be missed during a stay in Fuerteventura.
To Corralejo
After this day spent among dunes, beaches and volcanic landscapes, you return to Corralejo to enjoy the lively atmosphere of this seaside resort in the north of Fuerteventura.

From Corralejo
By taking the road towards the south of Fuerteventura, we advise you to make a first stop in Pájara, a colorful and flowering village where hibiscus, bougainvillea and oleanders accompany architecture with influences evoking Aztec art.

You continue your itinerary to Playa Barca, where you can enjoy a moment of relaxation on this large beach with transparent waters, bordered by the preserved landscapes of the Jandía peninsula.

The road then takes you through the more rugged landscapes of the south of the island. Between La Pared and Cofete, the wild terrain and ocean panoramas offer one of the most beautiful crossings in Fuerteventura.

After this immersion in the wild landscapes of Jandía, dedicate half a day to discovering the Oasis Park Fuerteventura, a vast zoological and botanical park renowned for its rich vegetation and wildlife.

To end this day, head to Morro Jable before continuing to the Punta Jandía lighthouse, located at the southwest tip of the island. A beautiful way to conclude your exploration of this part of Fuerteventura, between ocean, cliffs and wide open spaces.

Les ressortissants suisses peuvent également entrer aux Canaries avec leur carte d'identité ou leur passeport valide, dans le cadre des accords bilatéraux entre la Suisse et l'Union européenne.

Séjour touristique sans visa
Les ressortissants de l'Espace économique européen et de la Suisse ne sont soumis à aucune restriction de durée de séjour aux Canaries en tant que territoire de l'UE.
Les ressortissants canadiens bénéficient d'une exemption de visa pour les séjours touristiques allant jusqu'à 90 jours sur une période de 180 jours dans l'espace Schengen, dont l'Espagne et les Canaries font partie.
Système ETIAS (ressortissants canadiens)
À partir de la date de mise en œuvre prévue par les autorités européennes, les ressortissants canadiens devront obtenir une autorisation de voyage ETIAS (European Travel Information and Authorisation System) avant de se rendre aux Canaries ou dans tout autre pays de l'espace Schengen.
Cette autorisation électronique sera à demander en ligne avant le départ et sera valable pour plusieurs séjours sur une période de trois ans, dans la limite de 90 jours par période de 180 jours. Nous recommandons de vérifier l'état d'avancement de ce dispositif auprès des autorités officielles avant votre départ.
Particularités douanières des Canaries
Bien que faisant partie de l'Union européenne, les Canaries sont situées en dehors du territoire douanier de l'UE et de la zone TVA européenne. Des règles spécifiques s'appliquent concernant les franchises douanières lors du retour vers un pays de l'UE (alcool, tabac, marchandises) :

il est conseillé de se renseigner sur les limites en vigueur auprès des douanes de votre pays de résidence avant le départ.
Voyage avec des enfants
Les mineurs doivent être titulaires de leur propre document de voyage valide (passeport ou, pour les ressortissants de l'EEE, carte d'identité nationale).
Dans certains pays, lorsqu'un mineur voyage sans l'un de ses parents, une autorisation de sortie du territoire peut être exigée selon la réglementation du pays de résidence.
