The spirit of travel
A journey that begins to the rhythm of tango in Buenos Aires, continues on an Argentine estancia among gauchos and asado, and ignites beneath the thundering waters of Iguazú Falls. But this circuit holds a special encounter in store: on February 6, 2027, facing the ocean at Mar del Plata, the Moon will draw a ring of fire across the Argentine sky. A journey between earth, water and sky, to experience Argentina differently — until you touch the stars.
The stages of your journey
Highlights
Day-by-day itinerary

Welcome to Buenos Aires!
Upon your arrival at Ezeiza International Airport, you are welcomed before heading to Buenos Aires by private transfer. You settle in at the Tango de Mayo Hotel, where your stay in Argentina begins.

Buenos Aires Tour
Begin your discovery of Buenos Aires at the Plaza de Mayo. With your guide, trace the major stages of Argentine independence and political history, facing the Casa Rosada, the colonial Cabildo and the cathedral. Continue on foot along the Avenida de Mayo to the National Congress, passing the Belle Époque-style cafés that line the avenue.
Then head to San Telmo, one of the capital's oldest neighborhoods. Among cobblestone streets and colonial houses, discover antique shops, the covered market and artist workshops. The walk also takes you to the Plaza Dorrego, where tango culture brings the neighborhood to life.
Use local transport to reach La Boca and walk through Caminito, with its multicolored houses, tango dancers and murals. Your guide tells you about the neighborhood's working-class history, marked by Italian immigration, as well as its residents' attachment to the Boca Juniors club.

Buenos Aires: Recoleta, Palermo and Evening at Piazzolla Tango
With your guide, you discover Palermo, between green spaces and cultural life. You first stroll through the Bosques de Palermo, along the lakes, rose gardens and shaded paths.
You continue towards Palermo Soho and Palermo Hollywood, where designer boutiques, street art and cafés meet. These neighborhoods, marked by creativity and nightlife, reveal another facet of Buenos Aires.
The visit continues to Recoleta. Its grand avenues, its buildings inspired by Parisian architecture and its museums testify to the aristocratic past of the capital. You discover the Recoleta cemetery, which notably houses the tomb of Eva Perón.
In the neighboring streets, you continue your stroll between art galleries, bookstores and traditional cafés, following the heritage and cultural life of the neighborhood.

Visit to Buenos Aires
Near Buenos Aires, you discover the Delta Du Paraná, a landscape of islands, forests and river branches. Here, travel is done by water and houses are drawn among the trees, along the banks.
You board for a boat ride across the delta. During the navigation, you observe the landscapes of the islands, the fishermen and the colorful houses on stilts. Herons can also be spotted at the water's edge.
The delta is home to many migratory birds and aquatic plants, as well as capybaras and a few caimans. This discovery allows you to experience an environment where the life of inhabitants remains closely linked to rivers and nature.

Country Life and Gaucho Traditions
In a colonial mansion from 1880, in the heart of San Antonio de Areco, you discover the rhythm of rural Argentine life. Among century-old trees and open fields, the day begins to the sound of nature.
A morning horseback ride takes you through the countryside. You then observe the gaucho lasso skills, a tradition that is part of their daily life.
Around an asado with smoky flavors, you enjoy a convivial moment and Argentine hospitality. Sharing mate at sunset extends this day dedicated to countryside traditions.

Departure for Iguazú
Buenos Aires → Puerto Iguazú
Head north to Argentina with your flight to Puerto Iguazú , in the Misiones province. A new atmosphere awaits you, between water, intensely green vegetation and exotic wildlife.

Iguazu Falls on the Argentine side
You are heading off to discover the Iguazú Falls on the Argentine side, a collection of 275 waterfalls. The lower and upper walkways offer different viewpoints to observe the falls and enjoy their natural surroundings.
You visit the interpretation center, then take the paths that lead to the Dos Hermanas, Bossetti, Escondido, Unión and San Martín waterfalls. Along the way, you discover the multiple facets of the site.
Your visit continues aboard the Tren de la Selva to reach the Garganta del Diablo. From the walkways, you observe thousands of liters of water plunging into the río Iguazú every second.
You return to Puerto Iguazú at the end of the afternoon.

Iguazu Falls from the Brazilian side
Your English-speaking private guide meets you at your hotel to head to the Iguazu National Park in Brazil. The journey takes you through dense vegetation to the park entrance.
Before reaching the waterfalls, you can choose to take a detour to the bird park.
On site, you take the panoramic trail set up along the waterfalls. The walk gradually reveals the cascades that succeed one another above the gorge. From the Brazilian side, you enjoy an overview of the Iguazu Falls.
As you advance, the roar of the water intensifies and water spray accompanies your steps. The viewpoints over the cascades, rainbows and vegetation invite you to stop to observe and photograph the landscape.
You continue to the last footbridge, which brings you closer to the falls. Surrounded by water projections and the sound of the cascades, you finish the visit by taking in the measure of their power.

Appointment with the eclipse
Puerto Iguazú → Mar Del Plata
After the Iguazú Falls, you take your flight to Mar del Plata, on the Atlantic coast. This new stage takes you to the meeting point of the annular eclipse on February 6, 2027, whose ring of fire is expected in the Argentine sky. A final stopover between ocean and sky observation to conclude your journey.

Observation of the Annular Eclipse in Mar del Plata
On February 6, 2027, you dedicate this day to observing the annular solar eclipse in Mar del Plata, with your English-speaking guide.
You settle in a location selected for its observation conditions, on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean. Your guide accompanies you in discovering the different phases of the eclipse and explains the progression of this astronomical phenomenon.
When the Moon aligns in front of the Sun, a "ring of fire" appears around its silhouette. For a few minutes, the light changes and gives a different atmosphere to the landscape.

Return to Buenos Aires
Mar Del Plata → Buenos Aires
After your stay by the ocean and watching the annular eclipse, you take your flight from Mar del Plata to Buenos Aires. You rediscover the lively neighborhoods and elegance of the Argentine capital for a final stage before your return to France.
