Accompanied by your English-speaking guide, take to the road for two days dedicated to exploring northwestern Argentina. Departing from Salta, the itinerary takes you through wild valleys, multicolored mountains and Andean villages, in a landscape that progressively transforms along the way.
Your journey takes you from San Salvador de Jujuy to Purmamarca, before reaching Tilcara and the majestic Quebrada de Humahuaca. This discovery immerses you in an authentic Argentina, where Andean traditions and pre-Columbian culture hold an important place.

The white of the salt flat stretches as far as the eye can see, in contrast with the peaks that surround it.
After this discovery in the heart of northwestern landscapes, continue your itinerary towards the green valleys to reach Salta, where this stage ends.
Sunday, February 7, 2027: On the way to Cachi
From Salta, head south to cross the Quebrada de las Conchas, in the heart of the landscapes of northwestern Argentina. With your English-speaking private guide, you advance among rock formations shaped by time, whose red, ochre and golden hues give the landscape its distinctive character.
Several stops punctuate your journey to discover the main sites of the quebrada, including the Garganta del Diablo, the Amphitheatre and the Castillos. A few walks and photo breaks allow you to take time to observe these different landscapes.

Monday, February 8, 2027: Cafayate and its vineyards
Departing from Molinos, resume your journey through the landscapes of the Calchaquí valleys. The route gradually leads you southward to the Quebrada de las Conchas, where erosion has shaped reliefs with varied colors and forms.
Several stops are planned along the way to observe the geological formations of La Yesera, El Sapo and Los Médanos. Red cliffs, rocks with singular contours and desert expanses succeed one another along the route, offering at each stop a new perspective on this region.
Continue then towards Cafayate, a wine-producing town nestled at the foot of the mountains. Known for its high-altitude vineyards and its Torrontés grape variety, it invites you to discover a warm and peaceful atmosphere.
After lunch, take time to explore Cafayate according to your preferences. Walk through its historic center, discover local craftsmanship, then participate in a winery visit with tasting of regional wines to discover the productions and expertise of the region.

Tuesday, February 9, 2027: Return to Salta
After discovering the landscapes and vineyards of Cafayate, hit the road back to Salta to complete this journey through northwestern Argentina. The route alternates between mountains, valleys and arid lands, with new panoramas of the region's colorful reliefs.
Depending on how your journey unfolds and your preferences, a few photo stops can be arranged to take advantage of the landscapes you encounter along the way. A free lunch can also be planned on the road or upon your arrival in Salta.
You then return to Salta, the colonial city nicknamed "Salta la Linda". After checking into your hotel, this loop through the Calchaquíes valleys comes to an end, before the possible continuation of your journey to the next stage.
This final crossing allows you to enjoy once more the diversity of land, mountains and vast open spaces that make up the landscapes of northwestern Argentina.
Wednesday, February 10, 2027: Return to Buenos Aires and tango evening
After discovering Iguazu Falls, its tropical forest and the mountainous landscapes of northwestern Argentina, your journey continues with a flight to Buenos Aires. You return to the Argentine capital to end your stay in its porteña atmosphere, between energy and elegance.

Day Visit to Recoleta and Palermo - The Elegance and Creativity of Buenos Aires

To enter Argentina, your passport must be valid for the entire duration of your planned stay and contain at least one blank page for immigration stamps.

Tourist stay without a visa
Nationals of the European Economic Area, Switzerland, and Canada benefit from visa exemption for tourist stays in Argentina.
This exemption allows for a stay of up to 90 days from the date of entry into the country. An extension of an additional 90 days can generally be requested on site at the Argentine National Immigration Authority.
Authorities may also request:
an exit ticket from the country (return flight or onward travel),
proof of sufficient financial resources for the duration of your stay,
an accommodation address in Argentine territory.
Health and vaccinations
No vaccination is mandatory to enter Argentina from Europe or Canada. However, certain vaccinations are recommended depending on the regions you visit:
the yellow fever vaccine is recommended for travelers heading to the tropical zones in the north of the country (Misiones, Formosa, Chaco, and Jujuy provinces);
updating routine vaccinations (diphtheria, tetanus, poliomyelitis, measles) is advised.
It is recommended to consult a doctor or an international vaccination center before departure.
Traveling with children
Minors must hold their own valid passport covering the duration of the stay.
When a minor travels without one or both parents, a notarized parental authorization may be required by Argentine authorities at entry or exit. It is strongly advised to check beforehand with the competent Argentine consulate.
