This circuit takes you to discover the must-see sites of southern Maroc, from the medina of Marrakech to the Dadès and Todra gorges, passing through the Tinherir palm grove, the Merzouga dunes and the kasbahs of the Drâa valley.
Between mountains, oases, mud brick villages and desert landscapes, each stage reveals a different facet of this region rich in history and traditions. You travel along panoramic roads, meet the locals and stay in charming accommodations.

Day-by-day itinerary
Arrival in Marrakech and First Discovery of the Medina
Aéroport De Marrakech → Marrakech
Upon your arrival at Marrakech airport, your guide welcomes you and arranges your transfer by taxi to your riad.
Depending on your arrival time, you have free time to discover the souks and the medina of Marrakech, with their lively streets and traditional shops.
In the evening, you join a small restaurant near the Jemaa El Fna Square to share a simple dinner with local flavors.
On the Ancient Caravan Routes of the High Atlas
You leave Marrakech in the direction of the Tichka Pass, taking a mountain road that crosses the Atlas landscapes. The route leads you to the Ounila Valley, an ancient trail used by spice caravans between Aït Benhaddou and Telouet.
Along the way, you discover the Glaoui Palace, a historic monument built in the 19th century by Thami Glaoui, pasha of Marrakech. You then continue to Aït Benhaddou, famous for its ensemble of kasbahs and traditional earth architecture.
You stay with half board at the Kasbah du Jardin inn, where you can enjoy the swimming pool after this day of discovery.
Kasbahs, oases and landscapes of the Dadès gorges
You head towards Ouarzazate, the main urban center of the Drâa valley. You can discover the Kasbah of Taourirt, built in the 17th century by the Glaoui tribe, before walking through the narrow streets of the old town.
Ouarzazate → Palmeraie De Skoura
You continue your 4x4 itinerary towards the Skoura palm grove, one of the rare palm groves in Morocco that is still inhabited and cultivated. This oasis is home to traditional dwellings as well as an old kasbah converted into a museum. You also take time to observe the dunes and the desert landscapes that characterize the surrounding area.
Palmeraie De Skoura → Gorges de Dadès
You continue your itinerary towards the Dades Gorges, whose reliefs offer beautiful viewpoints over the surrounding landscapes. Depending on your preferences, you can swim in a secondary gorge or enjoy other activities on site.
You spend the night on a half-board basis at the Kasbah de la Vallée.
Encounters with semi-nomads and discovery of the Tinherir oases
You continue your adventure on a 4x4 track section in the Atlas, punctuated by encounters with semi-nomads. This crossing allows you to discover another aspect of life in the Moroccan mountains.
You then take a scenic road to reach the Toghra Gorges, which form a gateway to the High Atlas.
The day continues with a walking tour through the gardens of the Tinherir palm grove, situated in the heart of a vast oasis. You enjoy its lush vegetation and the freshness it brings to this arid environment.
You stay on half board at the Tombouctou hotel, located in the center of Tinherir and equipped with a swimming pool.
Camel trek and bivouac night in the heart of the Erg Chebbi dunes
You head towards Merzouga. Depending on your preferences and interests, you can make a few stops along the way to enjoy the landscapes you pass through.
Upon your arrival at the foot of the dunes of the erg Chebbi, you discover a vast desert of golden dunes, which ranks among the remarkable landscapes of the Sahara.
You continue your camel trekking adventure to reach an isolated bivouac in the middle of the dunes. This desert expedition takes you to the heart of the desert, where you spend the evening and night in an exotic setting.
You are accommodated in a bivouac, with meals provided as scheduled.
From the Southern Massifs to the Kasbahs of the Drâa Valley
In the morning, you join the Mohayut hotel, located at the foot of the dunes, to enjoy the facilities and have your breakfast.
You then continue along the road skirting Jebel Ougnat, then Jebel Saghro. Your itinerary passes through Alnif and Tazzarine before taking you to the Drâa valley.
Upon arrival, you can discover a kasbah, a testament to the traditional architecture of this region in southern Maroc.
You spend the evening and night on half board in an authentic kasbah equipped with a swimming pool.
The kasbahs of Tamnougalt and return to Marrakech via the Anti-Atlas
You start the day on the side of Tamnougalt, where you can discover many kasbahs. These traditional constructions testify to the architectural heritage of the Drâa valley.
You continue your journey towards Marrakech by crossing part of the Anti-Atlas, with its gorge landscapes. You then take a different route from your outbound journey to reach the Tichka Pass, then Marrakech.
Upon your arrival, you have free time to enjoy the city, venture into the medina or browse the souks in search of a few souvenirs.
You will find the riad where you stayed during your first night and enjoy a dinner with half board.
Latest discovery of Marrakech and transfer to the airport
Marrakech → Aéroport De Marrakech
You are transferred to Marrakech airport to take your international flight.
Depending on your departure time, you can take advantage of the morning to discover some famous monuments in the city, such as a palace or a Quranic school.

Registration is considered firm and final after payment of a deposit of 30% of the total price and acceptance of the specific terms of sale.
The balance must be paid no later than 45 days before the departure date.

The information below concerns travelers who are nationals of the European Economic Area (EEA), Switzerland and Canada traveling to Morocco for a tourist stay. Entry rules may change, so we recommend verifying this information with the official authorities before your departure.
Passport
To enter Morocco, your passport must be valid for the entire duration of your stay and include at least one blank page for immigration stamps.
The document must be in good condition (no damaged, torn or altered pages).
Nationals of certain EEA countries may enter Morocco with a valid national identity card in accordance with applicable bilateral agreements. However, it is advisable to travel with a valid passport to avoid any inconvenience.
Tourist stay without visa
Nationals of the European Economic Area, Switzerland and Canada benefit from a visa exemption for tourist stays.
This exemption allows a stay of up to 90 days from the date of entry into Moroccan territory. Beyond this period, authorization of stay must be requested from the Moroccan authorities.
The authorities may also request:
an outbound ticket (return or onward flight),
proof of sufficient financial resources for the duration of the stay,
proof of accommodation (hotel booking or invitation from a private individual).
Health and vaccinations
No vaccination is mandatory to enter Morocco from the EEA, Switzerland or Canada. However, it is recommended to ensure that routine vaccinations are up to date (diphtheria, tetanus, poliomyelitis, hepatitis A).
It is advisable to consult a doctor or vaccination center before departure, particularly for stays in rural areas or remote regions.
Traveling with children
Minors must hold their own valid passport covering the duration of the stay.
In certain European countries, when a minor travels without one of their parents, an authorization to leave the territory may be required according to the regulations of the country of residence. The Moroccan authorities may also request documentation in case of travel with a single parent or a third party.

Entry conditions may vary depending on nationality. Travelers concerned should inquire with the embassy or consulate of Morocco in their country of residence.
