This 8-day circuit promises authentic adventures through Kenya's natural treasures and exceptional landscapes. We will engage in trekking to explore the attractions of the Great Rift Valley. Even children from age 8 are invited to participate in the adventure. The opportunity allows us to have encounters with the Maasai people and discover their way of life. We will not miss out on a photo safari in one of the country's most important reserves, namely Amboseli. Throughout the journey, we have the privilege of experiencing unforgettable moments of camping and picnicking.

Day-by-day itinerary
Nairobi – Torosei
Nairobi → Torosei
This morning, we join the Girafe Center located about twenty kilometers from Nairobi. This center is a non-profit organization that aims to raise awareness among students and Kenyans about the country's environmental issues and the protection of animal species. Here, we will have the chance to see up close one of the largest species in the world, the giraffe.
We then head to the Sheldrick Orphanage, one of the oldest wildlife conservation charities. A leading conservation organization, Sheldrick Wildlife is especially known for its orphan projects which aim to rescue baby elephants, care for them and rehabilitate them in their natural habitat.
Lunch, then heading to the village of Torosei. This less touristy town is located west of Karero, near the border with Tanzania. We meet our trekking team there.
Beginning of the trek
Torosei → Rift Valley
Our four-day trek is led by a team of Masai guides. Accompanied by donkeys to carry all necessary equipment, we will walk approximately 15 km per day. We will camp in the wilderness every evening. Our team will take care of setting up camp and will prepare hot water every evening for bush showers. This trek will take us through the incredible landscapes of the Rift Valley and many viewpoints, but also to meet the Masai tribes, a very welcoming people. We will discover their culture, their ancestral customs and we will be able to participate in some daily tasks such as milking animals or building traditional houses. We will be able to watch and participate in dance and singing performances for unique and unforgettable experiences.

This trekking day takes us into the heart of the Rift Valley.
Trek and meeting with the Maasai people
Rift Valley → Torosei
Today, we dive into the daily life of the Maasai by discovering, among other things, their ancestral customs. We take part in the herding of livestock and the construction of huts. We make a small detour to the Torosei school.
Torosei – Namanga
Torosei → Namanga
Our trek comes to an end and we return to Torosei. We exchange with the teachers and students at Torosei school which the agency has sponsored for nearly 15 years. If we feel like it, we can organize a small football match with the students.
The journey continues to Namanga, a town neighboring the Amboseli national park, divided by the border between Tanzania and Kenya. We take a track through Amboseli park to reach our canvas lodge which offers a superb panorama of Kilimanjaro.
Camera in hand, we become witnesses to scenes of wild life: a colony of elephants lazily drags their steps across the savanna; lion cubs rush at their mother, young Masai watching over their livestock… An unforgettable day, which will conclude our Kenyan adventure.

Namanga → Amboseli National Park
We continue our journey towards Amboseli. Being the second most visited reserve in Kenya, this protected area fascinates travelers because of its rich and varied wildlife. We encounter there, among others, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, gazelles, hippopotamuses, antelopes, warthogs and herds of elephants. The site offers a superb view of Kilimanjaro.

Practical Information
Registration is considered firm and final after payment of a deposit of 30% of the total price and acceptance of the specific terms of sale.
The balance must be paid no later than 45 days before the departure date.

- More than 60 days before departure: 40% of the total price (deposit retained)
- Between 60 and 30 days before departure: 50% of the total price
- Less than 30 days before departure: 100% of the total price

The information below concerns entry requirements for Kenya for tourist stays. Since entry regulations may change, we recommend verifying the information with the official authorities before your departure.
Passport
To enter Kenya, your passport must be valid for a minimum of six months beyond your date of entry into the country and contain at least two blank pages for immigration stamps.
The document must be in good condition (no damaged, torn, or altered pages).
Visa and eTA (Electronic Travel Authorization)
Since January 2024, Kenya has replaced the traditional visa with an electronic travel authorization (eTA), which is mandatory for all travellers.
The eTA must be obtained online before departure through the official Kenyan government portal. It is generally processed within a few business days and permits a tourist stay of up to 90 days.
When applying, the following documents are generally required:
a valid passport,
a proof of departure from the territory (return or onward flight),
proof of accommodation booking,
proof of sufficient financial resources for the duration of your stay.
The eTA confirmation (digital or printed format) must be presented upon arrival to the immigration services.
Health and Vaccinations
Kenya is considered a malaria risk area. Taking a preventive antimalarial treatment is strongly recommended; consult your doctor before departure.
Yellow fever vaccination is mandatory if you are arriving from a country where this disease is endemic. In this case, you must be able to present a valid international vaccination certificate upon arrival.
The following vaccinations are also recommended:
hepatitis A and B,
typhoid,
meningitis,
update of routine vaccinations (tetanus, diphtheria, poliomyelitis).
Travel with Children
Minors must hold their own valid passport covering the duration of the stay, as well as their own eTA.
When a minor travels without one of their parents, a parental authorization may be required according to the regulations of your country of residence.
Entry Requirements by Nationality
Entry conditions may vary depending on nationality. Travellers should check the specific requirements with the Kenyan embassy or consulate in their country of residence.

As of 2024, an electronic travel authorization (eTA) must be obtained online before departure (approximately $30 USD), valid for a limited period.
