Highlights
Day-by-day itinerary

Welcome to Buenos Aires!
Upon arrival at Ezeiza International Airport, you are welcomed before heading to Buenos Aires by private transfer. You check in at the Tango de Mayo Hotel, where your stay in Argentina begins.

Visit to the city of Buenos Aires
Begin your discovery of Buenos Aires at the Plaza de Mayo. With your guide, trace the major milestones of Argentine independence and political history, facing the Casa Rosada, the colonial Cabildo and the cathedral. Continue on foot along the Avenida de Mayo to the National Congress, passing Belle Époque-style cafés that line the avenue.
Then head to San Telmo, one of the oldest neighborhoods in the capital. Among cobblestone streets and colonial houses, discover antique shops, the covered market and artist studios. The walk also takes you to Plaza Dorrego, where tango culture animates the neighborhood's life.
Take local transportation to reach La Boca and stroll through Caminito, among colorful houses, tango dancers and murals. Your guide tells you the working-class history of the neighborhood, marked by Italian immigration, as well as the attachment of its residents to the Boca Juniors club.

Continuation of the city tour and tango evening
From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., continue your discovery of Buenos Aires through the neighborhoods of Recoleta and Palermo, between heritage, gardens and contemporary creation.
The morning begins at the Recoleta Cemetery, where many Argentine personalities rest, including Eva Perón. Through the pathways and sculpted mausoleums, discover a piece of the country's history. Just nearby, the Basilica Nuestra Señora del Pilar reveals its white facade with colonial inspiration. Then take time to stroll through the gardens and settle on the terrace at Café La Biela, once frequented by writers and artists.
Late morning, head to Palermo, with its bohemian and contemporary atmosphere. For lunch, Palermo Soho offers a choice between traditional parrillas and fusion cuisine restaurants. The discovery continues through its lively streets, among independent fashion boutiques, urban art murals, artisanal workshops and vintage decoration addresses.
In the evening, head to Piazzolla Tango, housed in a former Art nouveau theater, for a dinner show with wine. On stage, the bandoneon, violins and singing accompany the dancers in expressive choreography. Between dishes with Argentine flavors, the show pays tribute to Astor Piazzolla and immerses you in tango culture, intimately linked to Buenos Aires.

Departure to the End of the World
After discovering Buenos Aires, head south with your flight to Ushuaia. The landscapes of Tierra del Fuego await you, between mountains, southern forests and the waters of the Beagle Channel. A new stage of your journey in this city at the end of the world.

Visit to Tierra del Fuego National Park
Departing from your hotel, you explore the Tierra del Fuego National Park, at the far southwest of the province. Subantarctic forest and the shores of the Beagle Channel make up the landscapes of this day.
At Ensenada, you reach the bay to admire the Navarino and Hoste islands, in the Chilean part of the archipelago, as well as Redonda Island.
You continue toward Lake Acigami, formerly called Lake Roca. A short walk along its shores precedes the discovery of the Alakush visitor center.
The route continues along the Lapataia River, to Lapataia Bay, where National Route 3 ends. You then take the boardwalks to the panoramic viewpoint to observe the waters and the surrounding mountain range before returning to your hotel.

Walk with the penguins
Departing from Ushuaia, you cross the landscapes of Tierra del Fuego, between mountains, southern forests and wild coasts, until you reach Estancia Harberton.
Founded in the late 19th century, the estancia immerses you in the history of the region's pioneers. Its historic buildings and preserved setting bear witness to life once lived in these southern lands.
From the estancia, you embark towards Isla Martillo, nicknamed the "penguin island". You can observe a colony of Magellanic penguins and gentoo penguins in their natural environment. As you navigate, the wind and calls of birds accompany your discovery.
This encounter with local wildlife concludes the excursion, in the Tierra del Fuego landscapes, and offers beautiful opportunities for observation and photography.

Departure for El Calafate
After your stopover in Ushuaia and Tierra del Fuego, your journey continues to El Calafate, in the heart of southern Patagonia. The scenery changes to reveal vast wild landscapes, mountains and glaciers, with the Perito Moreno glacier in sight.

Cruise on Lago Argentino
Early in the morning, you leave your hotel in El Calafate to reach the port of Punta Bandera, located 47 kilometers away. You board a catamaran for the Todo Glaciares cruise, a navigation of approximately 6 to 7 hours on the turquoise waters of Lake Argentino, in the heart of the Los Glaciares National Park.
You navigate among the icebergs from the Upsala Glacier, subject to navigation conditions. Between the blocks of ice and mountain formations, you discover glacial landscapes from the water.
The route then takes you to the Spegazzini Glacier, whose ice wall reaches 135 meters in height. In the Glaciers Bay, you disembark for a short guided walk to a viewpoint, with views of the Spegazzini, Heim and Seco glaciers.
On board, heated interior spaces and glass lounges allow you to enjoy the landscape sheltered from the elements. Exterior decks offer other viewpoints to observe the glaciers and take photos. Commentary in Spanish and English accompanies the navigation.
Optional: the VIP "Captain's Club" package, with private lounge, beverages, snacks and premium service.
At the end of the excursion, you return to your hotel in El Calafate.

The majestic Perito Moreno
At 8:30 a.m., depart from your hotel with your English-speaking private guide to discover the Glacier Perito Moreno. The 80 km journey runs along the southern shore of Lake Argentino before reaching the entrance to Glaciers National Park.
Once there, walk the catwalks that offer different viewpoints of the glacier. Take time to observe its reliefs and ice walls, then board for a boat trip on Lake Argentino to get closer to it. With a bit of luck, you may see blocks of ice break off and fall into the water.
It is also possible to do a trek on the glacier.

Departure for El Chalten
You leave El Calafate aboard a modern and comfortable bus to reach El Chaltén, renowned as the Argentine trekking capital.
The road crosses the vast expanses of the Patagonian steppe, before taking you to El Chaltén, with the Fitz Roy massif as a backdrop.

Trekking at Laguna Capri
From El Chaltén, you take the marked trail leading to Laguna Capri. Through lenga forests, this hike reveals views of the Fitz Roy, glacial valleys and Patagonian expanses.
At the edge of the lagoon, you take a break to contemplate the mountains reflected in its clear waters. The setting is also suitable for a picnic. Along the way, keep your eyes open: with a bit of luck, you may observe condors, caranchos or Patagonian hares.
Distance: approximately 8 km round trip.
Duration: 4 to 5 hours, including breaks.
Elevation gain: 350 m.
Difficulty: easy to moderate.
Possibility to carry out this excursion with a private English-speaking guide.

Hiking to Laguna Condor
From El Chaltén, you set off on a hike in the Los Huemules reserve, located a few kilometers from the village. The trail leads you to Laguna Cóndor, through the preserved landscapes of Patagonia.
The route, at an easy level, crosses a forest of lengas and ñires, two species characteristic of the region. As you walk, you discover the Río de las Vueltas valley and the mountain reliefs surrounding it.
After approximately 1 hour 30 minutes of hiking, you reach the lagoon. Its calm waters, bordered by vegetation, invite you to pause for lunch or take time to observe the Andean landscape.
Total duration: approximately 4 hours 30 minutes round trip.
Distance: 3.8 km.
