Koh Jum Lodge
Family eco-lodge featuring 19 wooden bungalows on Koh Jum, a small Andaman Sea island kept away from mass tourism. Co-managed by an English-speaking and Thai couple.
Koh Jum Lodge is an ecological resort designed to protect and preserve its greatest asset: the pristine natural beauty of its surroundings.
Jean Michel Limandas is co-owner and manager of the Lodge alongside his Thai wife Jane, and several long-time friends originally from Lyon.
Both Jean and Jane come from backgrounds in travel and eco-tourism in Thailand and bring considerable expertise to the table, having worked for over two decades with a major French tour operator and travel agency.
During those years, they successfully organized tailor-made trips and stays throughout Asia, and contributed to the development of eco-lodges and cruises in Bangkok, northern Thailand, Laos, and Phuket.
Whether you come to Koh Jum for diving, trekking, or a romantic escape, this property will make your stay memorable.
Koh Jum Lodge: 19 wooden pavilions overlooking the sea
In the southern Gulf of Thailand, Jum Island sits quietly between Koh Lanta, Krabi, and Koh Phi Phi. Unlike its neighbors, Koh Jum remains refreshingly untouched by mass tourism.
The accommodation features 19 wooden bungalows, a swimming pool, and a well-maintained tropical garden. You'll feel at home in your cozy bungalow, complete with a double bed, comfortable living area with sofa and armchairs, and modern facilities. Relax on your private terrace, gently swaying in a hammock, gazing out at the rows of coconut palms and casuarina trees.
Treat yourself to a traditional Thai massage. Cool off in the pool or venture out for a snorkeling session exploring the incredible marine life. All lodge guests enjoy panoramic views of the Andaman Sea from their bungalows. Offering practical comfort while meeting responsible tourism standards, the lodge is highly appreciated and consistently well-rated by guests.
Where is Koh Jum Lodge located?
Boat is the most convenient and practical way to reach Koh Jum. From Koh Lanta or Krabi, ferries run several round trips daily. Prefer to arrive by long-tail boat? Catch the next one from Laem Kruat Pier. Since Koh Jum Lodge has no port facilities, boats anchor directly on the beach.
For stress-free travel, a shuttle can pick you up at Krabi Airport and transfer you directly to the lodge. Shuttle fees are not included in the room rate.
Pets are not permitted on the property.
For peaceful seaside holidays on Koh Jum, here's the address to remember: 286 Moo 3, T. Koh Sriboya, Nua Khlong, Krabi, Krabi 81130, Thailand.
Cozy and charming traditional pavilions
Guests will unwind in the 19 wooden bungalows with sea views. To protect you from insects, your double bed is equipped with mosquito netting. For your comfort, you have a spacious living area and modern facilities. No air-conditioning, but ceiling fans are provided. A wardrobe, refrigerator, and minibar complete the amenities. And since travel calls for a change of scenery, the roof is thatched, and bamboo, silk, cotton, and rattan furniture fills your sitting area, creating a beautifully rustic atmosphere.
A standout feature is the private balcony with panoramic views of the garden, pool, or sea. Hotel staff can serve your breakfast on your balcony. The on-site restaurant offers delicious à la carte menus with Thai and Western inspiration, with a marked emphasis on fresh seafood.
What to see and do here

You can take a hiking trip, go diving, or simply stroll along the shore.
