Zorgol Khairkhan mount

Considered as sacred by the locals, this 1686 meter-high mount dominates on the area of Tov province. It is at 180km southeast of the capital city that we can observe this granitic rock formation, with its red reflects. The surrounding streams make the area verdant, and become hence the habitat of diverse animal species such as red deer, the Argali wild sheep and ibex. On the east side, a beautiful lake called Princess Lake by the locals, sits on the foothill of the mount. It is the main water source for the local herders. On the surroundings several Mongolian soldiers graves are part of the scenery, making the area more respected and venerated.
