The french Bistrot Français

After several days in a beautiful Mongolian nature, where you will be offered some local delicacies like the khorkhog and Boodog specialities, what's more natural to come back to a more varied and delicious meal in the capital city. Le Bistrot Français brings everything you crave for and is the worthy representative of the french gastronomy tradition.

Localized to the center of the city, at only few steps from the Genghis Khan’s Square, Le Bistrot Francais has been opened since 2003 by Guy and his Mongolian colleagues. For 13 years they provided a cocoon nest for all the expatriates and Mongolians who desired something new, fresh and tasteful. A lot of possibilities are offered, and very often the place is welcoming groups of friends or relatives enjoying one of the best meals in town. The french cuisine is exceptionally well made, with fresh vegetables and meats, and even the most traditional french recipes are provided: from the French Quiche Lorraine to the famous snails, all is brought with a taste of a good wine. Don’t forget to ask which one will fit the best with your dishes!

Without beverage, a meal will cost about $11 to $19. Very near to the Genghis Khan’s Square in the very heart of Ulan Bator, on the street Ikh Surguuliin, you can’t miss the typical Bistrot style from France, with its veranda opened towards the street. You will find it only few hundred yards from the Triskell restaurant, a Breton style cuisine, also famous in here.

Opened from Monday to Saturday, -Monday-Friday : 10am to 22pm. -Saturday : 11am to 22pm.

Address: Ikh Surguuliin Gudamj # 2, just behind the Genghis Khan’s Square, only one minute up north on foot.
