The event of the 2015 season is undoubtedly the Asia Pacific Bike Ride, which was held from the 25th to 28th of September. In the aim to raise money for a local charity, 110 participants from 16 countries competed in a bike challenge.
This year, Mongolia was proud to host this event, which usually takes place once a year in a different country. Horseback Adventure travel agency was honoured to be part of the organisation. It was a great success, despite the rough weather conditions at the end of this touristic season. For this purpose, we made a video footage, putting forward beautiful aerial views of the contest:
It is in the Mongolian steppes, in the Gorkhi-Terelj National Park, not far from Ulaan Baatar that during 2 days that our bikers had to face over 100km wind, snow and low temperatures (-10°C in the morning) to reach victory for the sake of the Mongolian association Tsolmon-Ireedui Foundation, which strives to give education and shelter the needy children of Ulaan Baatar. Hence a beautiful adventure overtook not only by eager participants, who had to go through several passes, but also our team who gave 100% of themselves to ensure the safety of our guests in Mongolia.
