Pickup at Denpasar airport and transfer to Ubud, a town located in the hills north of Denpasar, surrounded by rolling green rice fields and ravines. Ubud is renowned for its painting school. Despite the exponential growth in tourism in recent years, the town has managed to preserve its tranquility and beauty. The rest of the day is free.
Day of discovery of Ubud and its surroundings. Elegant temples and palaces with carved facades line the streets. During your city walk, you discover Puri Saren and the details of its wooden doors, Pura Saraswati and the finesse of its ornaments, Pura Puseh and its splendid sculptures as well as many other museums and galleries. Another curiositý of Ubud, slightly set back from the city center, is the Monkey Forest Temple. As for the walks and hikes outside Ubud, they take you to places where the view of the surroundings is breath-taking, as the rural landscapes are so unspoiled.
Morning transfer towards the slopes of Mount Batukaru. Visit of the temple Luhur Batukaru, which emerges in a lush greenery and where several "meru" stand with multiple roofs. Some of them date back to the 17th century, dedicated to the ancestors of the Tabanan dynasty and the local protective deities. Then, transfer to Jatiluwih, a small village located in the middle of the most beautiful rice fields of Bali, in the central-western part of the island. You then begin a superb walk of about 2 hours through this true ocean that represent the rice terraces that surround you. Continuation towards the Bedugul region in order to visit the famous Hindo-Buddhist temple Pura Ulun Danau. This temple seeming to float on the waters of the lake is one of the most famous in Bali. A sacred place surrounded by green gardens dedicated to the Goddess Dewi Danau. You also make a small stop at the very pretty local market of Candi Kuning before returning to Ubud.

This morning, you are going to discover the terraced rice fields of Tegallalang. Located north of Ubud, they offer sumptuous panoramas. Stop at the village of Tampaksiring to visit the temples of Gunung Kawi. This site is probably the most impressive in Bali with the 9 tombs of the family of King Wungsu, dug into the cliff. Visit of Tirta Empul and its sacred pools where hundreds of Balinese come every day to purify themselves. Continuation to Penelokan, a high-altitude village that offers stunning views of the lake and the volcano Batur. You will have lunch at the edge of the caldera of Batur (lunch not included) and enjoy an exceptional panorama. Then, return to Ubud by making a stop at the temple of Goa Gadja, better known as the elephant cave. Dating from the 11th century and built at the crossing of two rivers, this temple is one of the oldest Balinese archaeological sites. Transfer to Sanur in the late afternoon.
The morning is free to enjoy the beach. In the afternoon you visit Pura Taman Ayu, a state temple located in Mengwi. It is one of the only temples where ancestral royal deities are celebrated. Its peaceful gardens, its architecture with its alignment of groupers make it a place where calm and serenity reign. Then, you discover the temple of Tanah Lot, which means 'Land of the Sea' in Balinese. It stands on an islet beaten by the waves of the ocean, and is a popular pilgrimage site for tourists and photographers. The temple of Tanah Lot was built in the 16th century on the advice of the famous Javanese priest Danghyang Nirartha to pay tribute to the guardian spirits of the sea. This remarkable site also benefits from one of the most splendid sunsets on the island.
Transfer to the airport and flight to Maumere. Welcome at Maumere airport by your French-speaking guide and transfer to the village of Moni, at the foot of the majestic massif of Kelimutu. The road offers superb panoramas, which therefore allow numerous stops.
Very early in the morning you take the road to the summit of Kelimutu to admire a breathtaking and almost unreal spectacle: the sunrise over the 3 crater lakes of 3 different colors. Then you continue your road towards the small town of Ende, stopping on the way at the fruit market of Nduaria. After your lunch, you continue towards Penggajawa, an amazing beach with blue pebbles, then arrive at your destination of the day: Bajawa, in the highlands.

Early departure for Watumese (about 30 min drive), located at the foot of the beautiful volcano Inerie (inactive). A trail through the bamboo forest leads you to a village in the Ngada Country. Discovery of traditional houses with very high roofs. Continuation of your hike and visit of two other villages. Return to the vehicle by another trail (in total about 3h30 of walking without difficulty). Picnic near a river of hot water at Nage. Swimming, relaxation, and return to the hotel in Bajawa.

Road to Aimere where you visit the traditional palm wine distillery (Arak). Lunch in Borong and continuation to Lake Ranamese. Short walk along the lake. Road to Ruteng, located at the foot of the Ranakah volcano, which is in regular activity (eruptions several times a year). Just before arriving in Ruteng, visit the incredible rice terraces of Mano. Picnic lunch or restaurant on the way.

Morning transfer to the village of Cara, where you’ll admire the fantastic rice fields shaped like cobwebs, then take the road to Labuan Bajo. Upon your arrival you go directly to the port and embark on board your privatized boat for a sublime cruise on the crystal-clear waters of Komodo National Park. You are accompanied by your guide, your cook and the boat crew. You start your cruise and sail towards the island of Kelor to discover its seabed offering sublime corals and fish of an astonishing diversity. Then you set sail towards the island of Kalong, largely made up of mangroves and where thousands of bats are used to take refuge during the day. At nightfall, you therefore observe this real 'black cloud' setting in motion and heading towards the large island of Flores, to the east, in order to feed mainly on fruits.
In the morning, you continue your navigation towards the island of Rinca. The Bajo people live there in houses on stilts, living exclusively from seafood. You go for a walk there to track the famous "dragons" of Komodo and other deer, monkeys, buffaloes and wild horses, all in a setting where the green of the savannah blends with the blue of the coves and bays. Upon your return to the boat, you set sail for Pink Beach.
In the early morning, you take advantage of the relative coolness for a walk on the island of Komodo, from where you can see the boat at anchor in the turquoise waters of the bay. Then you head to the famous «Manta Point», where Manta rays like to be «cleaned». Possibility to swim nearby (while keeping a safe distance) and observe this 'ballet' represented by the majestic dance of these impressive marine animals. Finally, you take the road from the port of Labuan Bajo. Upon arrival at the port, transfer to the airport for your return flight to Denpasar. In Bali, welcome and transfer to Jimbaran.
