  • A day exploring Ubud and the surrounding area. Elegant temples and palaces with sculpted facades line the streets. During your city stroll, you will discover Puri Saren and the details of its wooden doors, Pura Saraswati and the finesse of its ornamentation, Pura Puseh and its splendid sculptures as well as many other museums and galleries. Another curiositý of Ubud, slightly set back from the town centre, is the Monkey Forest Temple. Walks and hikes outside Ubud, meanwhile, take you to places where the views of the surrounding area are breathtaking, so unspoilt is the rural landscape.

  • Today, the focus is on traditions and sharing. Total immersion in everyday Balinese life: cooking, making offerings, dancing, music… At the heart of a Balinese family, you will go to the market́, to buy the ingredients needed to prepare the meal. You then return home, where you will spend the majoritý of the day exchanging ideas and taking part in the various activities of everyday Balinese life: making coffeé, preparing offerings. You will then take part in a cooking class, which you will taste. In the early afternoon, take a walk through the village and the surrounding countryside. Return home for a farewell tea with your hosts… A day full of sharing! In the late afternoon, you will discover the temple of Tanah Lot, which means "Land of the Sea" in Balinese. It stands on an islet beaten by the ocean waves, and is a popular place of pilgrimage for tourists and photographers. The temple of Tanah Lot was built in the 16th century on the advice of the famous Javanese priest Danghyang Nirartha, to pay homage to the guardian spirits of the sea. This remarkable site also boasts one of the most splendid sunsets on the island.

  • The morning is devoted to a pleasant 3-hour walk around Sidemen, through highland plantations and rice fields. During this walk, you will pass by a number of hamlets where you can meet the local population, and cross an old suspension bridge. The vegetation is luxuriant and the landscape very exotic. In the late morning, a short transfer to the royal baths of Tirtagangga (whose exact translation is "The waters of the Ganges"), on the south-eastern slopes of Mt Agung. Officially known as Tirta Ayu, this complex of freshwater pools was one of the many water palaces built by a king of Karangasem. Surrounded by a beautiful display of rice terraces, this is the ideal place to relax after your hours of walking. Transfer to Amed in the afternoon.

  • Free day in Amed. Originally a small fishing village, Amed has managed to retain its charm and simplicitý despité the growth in tourism. This day can be an opportunity to go snorkelling from the beach. Here the seabed is rich and easy to access. At the end of the day, with a little height, it is possible to go and admire the sun setting behind the Agung volcano.

  • Sunrise in Amed is a sight not to be missed! At first light, the fishing boats return with the rising sun behind them and the imposing Agung volcano in front. You will then visit the Kehen temple in Bangli. This temple is one of the most revered in Bali. Its plant garden and eleven-meru temple make it a place filled with spiritualitý and traditions. You finally continue your journey to Sanur, where you arrive in the afternoon. Check-in at the hotel and evening at leisure.
