Bivouac and Hiking in the Jura
11am, Bellegarde-sur-Valserine station: we meet up with Captain Rémi on the platform, then a short shuttle transfer to the starting point. We have a gear briefing and distribute supplies among the backpacks… and off we go for a hike between the alpine pastures and forests of the Jura, with a peaceful picnic break.
Following Rémi's advice, we scout and choose the bivouac spot. Once the location is confirmed, we learn the techniques for setting up a top-notch bivouac.
In the evening, aperitif and meal preparation with a view of the Alps. We gather around the stove for a mountain meal based on local products, then end the evening with stargazing.
Activity: 6km, 3 hours hiking, 450m elevation gain, 250m elevation loss

Hiking on the Jura Plateaus
We savor the sunrise on the mountain, then a light breakfast to get us going.
Next, we head off for a beautiful day of hiking on the Jura plateaus.
Along the way, Rémi shows us how to recognize local wildlife and read animal tracks. Throughout the journey, we enjoy lovely panoramic views. A well-deserved picnic break before we continue on the trail.
Return to Bellegarde station at 4:45 PM.

Registration is considered firm and final after payment of a deposit of 30% of the total price and acceptance of the specific terms of sale.
The balance must be paid no later than 45 days before the departure date.
