After exploring the historic center on your first visit, this day is devoted to its authentic neighborhoods and places of memory, which trace the city's evolution.

Start with a stroll through the Grbavica or Marijin Dvor neighborhood, where Austro-Hungarian architecture and modern constructions stand side by side. Then continue to the Museum of History of Bosnia and Herzegovina, then the Museum of the Tunnel of Hope, to better understand the resilience of the Sarajevo people during the siege of the 1990s.

You then head towards Ilidža and the sources of the Bosna River, a peaceful and verdant site, ideal for a stroll in the shade of the plane tree avenues. You can enjoy a coffee on the terrace there, by the water, while watching the horses pulling traditional carriages.

Meet the wild horses of Livno, one of Europe's largest herds. Aboard a four-wheel-drive vehicle, you'll traverse a landscape of mountains, meadows and forests, guided by a local resident who shares the story of these free-roaming horses.
