As you walk, you explore a mineral universe shaped by time, where colored valleys, fairy chimneys and cave villages compose unique settings. Each day immerses you in a different atmosphere, between open panoramas, intimate valleys and sites steeped in history.
You also discover rock-cut churches, ancient villages and places of life still marked by local traditions, while advancing at your own pace on accessible trails.

Arrival in Cappadocia
First Step in Discovering the Wonders of Cappadocia
Cavusin → Musée de plein air de Zelve
You join the small village of cavusin, which became an important center of Christianity from the 3rd century onwards.
You will discover the architecture of the Church of Saint John the Baptist, located in the heart of the old village of troglodyte houses.
The walk continues through the fairy chimneys of Pasabaglari, before reaching the former troglodyte village of Zelve. The latter was emptied of its population in 1957 due to erosion and is now arranged as the Zelve Open-Air Museum.
Return to Cappadocia.
Multicolored Valleys of Cappadocia
Gomede valley → Kizilçukur valley
After a short transfer to the Gömede Valley (approximately 10 minutes), you begin your hike with the discovery of the Pancarlik valley, known for its peaks, small valleys, penitents and its numerous fairy chimneys.
You also visit the rock-cut churches of Kepez and Sarıca, carved into the rock and dating from the 10th and 12th centuries.
Picnic before resuming the walk along the Kizilçukur Valley, called the red valley because of the rock colors. You observe the shapes sculpted by erosion over millennia on the volcanic rock, as well as troglodytic dwellings integrated into the landscape.

Return to Cappadocia.
Villages of Cappadocia
Village de Cemil → Mustafapasa
A short transfer of about 10 minutes takes you to a rock-cut monastery, nestled in the midst of apricot tree fields.
You then begin your hike through the Keslik valley, before catching sight of the Village of Cemil (1,150 m), then reach the Damsa Baraji mountain lake located at 1,100 meters.
You continue along a path leading to the Golgoli site (1,200 m), before reaching Mustafapasa, a former Greek village recognized for its houses with sculpted pediments.
Back to Cappadocia.
Discovering the Village of Uchisar
This day's hike (approximately 5 hours) takes you to the village ofUçhisar. You progress through the white valley, characterized by its large fairy chimneys with light hues, sometimes marked with sulfur. Terraced crops are established at the foot of rock formations, testifying to the ancient occupation of the region.
You observe many cave dwellings, today used as storage rooms or stables, whose openings carved into the tuff give a special atmosphere to these places.
In Uçhisar, you visit the volcanic tuff fortress, perched on a rocky promontory dominating the surrounding valleys of Cappadocia.
After a picnic in the shade of fruit trees, you continue your hike through new landscapes, before reaching the Pigeon Valley, which leads you to the village of Göreme.

From the Zemi Valley to the Kiliçlar Valley
Zemi valley → Kılıçlar valley
This day's hike (approximately 4 hours) takes you down the Zeminderesi valley, dotted with small fruit tree gardens, until you reach the famous "Love Valley" in Göreme, known for its rock formations with characteristic shapes rising towards the sky.
You then continue your hike in the Kiliçlar Valley, in the heart of Cappadocia, where tuffs in varied hues, fruit trees, troglodytic dwellings, pigeon houses and rock-cut churches succeed one another.
You finally reach the village of Cavusin, from where you are transferred by bus to your hotel.
Sublime Ihlara Valley
Cappadoce → Ville souterraine Derinkuyu
You head west of Cappadocia and reach the Underground City of Derinkuyu, which you visit.
Carved over 8 levels, this city extends to approximately 55 meters deep.

You continue on the road to Selime village, the starting point of your hike along the Ihlara Valley towards Belisirma.
Cut into the rock and lined with steep cliffs, the valley is home to numerous churches decorated with well-preserved paintings, bearing witness to the site's religious history.
Of volcanic origin, the valley was formed after the cooling of lava from Mount Hasan (Hasan Dağı) and Erciyes. Erosion then shaped this deep canyon, whose walls reach up to 150 metres in height.
You follow the course of the Melendiz River, discovering troglodytic dwellings as well as rock-cut churches dating from the 6th to 12th centuries.
Selime → Belisırma
The walk continues through willow and poplar plantations to theBelisirma Village, where you have lunch by the river.

Belisırma → Cappadoce
Bus return to Cappadocia.

Breakfast at the hotel, then transfer to the airport with your driver.

Passeport
Pour entrer en Turquie, votre passeport doit être valide au minimum six mois après la date d'entrée dans le pays et comporter au moins une page vierge pour les tampons d'immigration.
Le document doit être en bon état (pas de pages détériorées, déchirées ou modifiées).
Certains ressortissants européens (notamment français, allemands et belges) peuvent entrer en Turquie avec une carte nationale d'identité en cours de validité. Il est toutefois conseillé de voyager avec un passeport valide afin d'éviter tout désagrément.
Séjour touristique sans visa
Les ressortissants de l'Espace économique européen et de la Suisse bénéficient d'une exemption de visa pour les séjours touristiques.
Cette exemption permet un séjour pouvant aller jusqu'à 90 jours sur une période de 180 jours sur le territoire turc.
Les ressortissants canadiens sont quant à eux soumis à l'obtention d'un e-visa avant leur départ, disponible sur le portail officiel des autorités turques. Ce visa électronique autorise généralement un séjour touristique de 30 jours.
Les autorités peuvent également demander :
un billet de sortie du territoire (vol retour ou continuation),
une preuve de ressources financières suffisantes pour la durée du séjour,
une réservation d'hébergement pour la durée du séjour.
E-visa et formalités en ligne
Bien que les ressortissants de l'EEE et de la Suisse soient exemptés de visa, les voyageurs canadiens doivent obligatoirement obtenir un e-visa turc avant leur arrivée via le portail officiel evisa.gov.tr.

Il est recommandé d'effectuer cette démarche au moins 48 heures avant le départ. La confirmation de l'e-visa devra être présentée sous format numérique ou imprimé lors du passage à l'immigration.

Les mineurs doivent être titulaires de leur propre passeport valide couvrant la durée du séjour.
Dans certains pays européens, lorsqu'un mineur voyage sans l'un de ses parents, une autorisation de sortie du territoire peut être exigée selon la réglementation du pays de résidence.
